What's the first sucker move that he pulled, in your opinion?
Speaker B:Wow.
Speaker B:I got a string of them.
Speaker B:But look at me in my face right during my trial.
Speaker B:Look at me in my face telling me, yo, don't worry about it, bro.
Speaker B:I got you.
Speaker B:And I never see him again.
Speaker B:Damn.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker B:Real life.
Speaker A:Real life street stars know what time it is.
Speaker C:Real life street stories.
Speaker C:A real street legend in here.
Speaker B:D Haven.
Speaker C:What's up, brother?
Speaker B:You already know.
Speaker B:You already know, boy.
Speaker A:Man.
Speaker C:The Silent King.
Speaker A:Silent King, what does that mean?
Speaker B:What does that mean?
Speaker B:Silent Kings, man.
Speaker B:Man, that's.
Speaker B:This a brand that I'm pushing here, right?
Speaker B:This is about the people.
Speaker B:I don't really talk about people don't even ask questions about the people that's really responsible for where I'm at now.
Speaker B:And, you know, to everything that happened and, you know, in my life, that had a real impact that people just overlook, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:It was like my uncle, for instance, he was part of this crew, the Rock Boys, early on, and he played a significant part in help building that Rockefeller stuff too, as well.
Speaker B:So, you know, we don't mention him.
Speaker B:So, you know, I just.
Speaker B:And he died, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:So I just kind of went with Silent Kings of people that, you know, that have an impact in your life that you really don't even.
Speaker B:They don't think you still remember what you've done for them.
Speaker B:I mean, I'm thinking about, you know, my trial, you know, my family, my real friends, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:My boss at work, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:The real people that played superior role to get me to where I'm at right now, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:So it's just Silent Kings.
Speaker A:Can you name a couple of those people that played a role, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker A:Cause we like to show love to the underground or the street stars from.
Speaker B:The very beginning, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Shout out to Panama Jay.
Speaker B:Don't mention him in none of the records at all.
Speaker B:But he was definitely was just the four of us.
Speaker B:Me, Panama, my Uncle Buzz, and Jay himself.
Speaker B:Speaking for those names.
Speaker B:Then you got my mom, you got my family, you got key roles of people.
Speaker B:That's like the Silent Kings things, man.
Speaker B:Even my mentors, you know what I mean?
Speaker B:The OGs that raised me, that's gone and stuff, you know what I mean?
Speaker B:That's just who the Silent Kings was.
Speaker B:I learned from Big Stan, Calvin and stuff, my Uncle Calvin and all this like, these are all silent kings, people that meant something to me in my life, man, and just can't forget them.
Speaker B:And I just want them to know when they look at this and be proud of me, where I'm at and what I'm doing now, let them know I just didn't forget them.
Speaker B:And this is.
Speaker B:This is everything that just let them to remind me that.
Speaker B:Remind me.
Speaker B:Remind them that I'm always thinking of them.
Speaker C:Now.
Speaker C:As a young dude, I was watching the interview.
Speaker C:We said, man, you had a different childhood.
Speaker C:You know, you started off in the streets very early.
Speaker C:When you talk about things like your mom, like, when she seen you, you know, what you were becoming or what you were stepping into.
Speaker C:What was her reactions to things like that?
Speaker B:Know what you doing?
Speaker B:Very protective.
Speaker B:I mean, she protected me to a point where she moved me out of New York, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Because she's seen that me making a different turn in life.
Speaker A:Where'd she move you to?
Speaker B:She moved me to Jersey.
Speaker B:New Jersey.
Speaker B:Her and my coach.
Speaker B:Actually, my coach suggested it, like.
Speaker B:Cause my coach was like, yo, you know, if he gonna give up on school, this is gonna be his last chance right here.
Speaker B:This is a decent basketball program he can go to and stuff.
Speaker B:I think, you know, he can get some love over there.
Speaker B:He got some key players over there that was going to the D1 schools, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:So I ended up going to that school, getting transferred out of New York, going to that school.
Speaker A:Wait, at what age was this?
Speaker B:This was 16.
Speaker B:Getting transferred out of New York.
Speaker B:I get in Jersey and I get in this school, and it was something like I've never seen before.
Speaker B:I mean, I've seen hustlers hustling dudes before, but to go to another city, go to another state and city and see a whole different vibe.
Speaker B:Like, everybody in this school was hustling.
Speaker A:So what was the difference between New York and New Jersey?
Speaker B:New York, that a lot of young dudes hustling in New York didn't have that kind of money.
Speaker B:You know, they was more into fashion and this and that.
Speaker B:And the third, they would be spending their bread up on jewelry, fashion and clothes, right?
Speaker B:But them Jersey dudes, they didn't have a lot of access to stuff, so they just saved money.
Speaker B:But when I got in that high school there, and I seen dudes pushing Porsches and Benzes and iced out coming to school and, you know, gambling, watching, yo, in high school, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:The whole time now, my cousin you know, he goes, he taking me to school, putting me on and things.
Speaker B:But he ain't telling me what he doing.
Speaker B:You get what I'm saying?
Speaker B:But when we get into high school, everybody like, Whitey, you know, he's that dude.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:But he known as a gambler, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:And he would always be like, yo, I'm going on the back exit.
Speaker B:So when I finally see what's going on the back exit, I'm talking about these dudes.
Speaker B:It's dice games in high school with 20, 30 thousand dollars on the floor.
Speaker B:And I'm like, oh, shit.
Speaker B:I ain't never seen these many young people with this much bread that just turned me way out.
Speaker B:Cause I wasn't even on that level, you know what I mean?
Speaker B:So my cousin.
Speaker B:I end up seeing my cousin like, yo, he.
Speaker B:Yo, I hustle, and I'm like, shit.
Speaker B:You know what I mean?
Speaker B:You ain't saying nothing at this time.
Speaker B:I was just in the middle of a relationship with Spanish Jose.
Speaker B:So that kind of all made sense.
Speaker B:And I'm like, yo, you know, I still.
Speaker B:I have a connect my own self.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:And then I started bringing my own work to Jersey.
Speaker B:So, you know.
Speaker C:You know, what was the.
Speaker C:I just, man.
Speaker C:Cause you know, we're from the South.
Speaker C:When a dude is hustling, he has a certain look, like he wears a certain thing.
Speaker C:You know, he gonna have that Caprice.
Speaker C:You know, he gonna be on folds.
Speaker C:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker C:What was the uniform like?
Speaker C:What was the style?
Speaker C:What was you had on if you was really getting that paper?
Speaker B:Yo, like I said, this high school, everybody was getting money.
Speaker B:And it was almost like this town, Trenton.
Speaker B:This is Trenton, New Jersey.
Speaker B:It's almost like this town, right?
Speaker B:It's like, if you wanted to fit in, you had to be getting money.
Speaker B:If you wasn't getting no money, you wasn't really getting no respect.
Speaker B:Like, the girls would not even respect you if you wasn't getting money.
Speaker B:So everybody was getting money.
Speaker B:You get what I'm saying?
Speaker B:And you had to have a look like you was getting money.
Speaker B:And it wasn't no lie.
Speaker B:Like, we coming in an era of 88, 89.
Speaker B:Everybody had bread.
Speaker B:Everybody had bread.
Speaker B:So, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:It wasn't just a look.
Speaker B:Dudes was walking around with Dapper dad clothes and stuff.
Speaker B:This, that, and the third.
Speaker B:That was that era.
Speaker B:That's that paid in full look that you see in Paid in Full.
Speaker B:You get what I'm saying?
Speaker B:I was just turning over so real.
Speaker D:Quick before you get into that.
Speaker D:So you say in high school, everybody was getting money.
Speaker D:Girls wouldn't even mess with you if you had no money.
Speaker D:So were the fellas.
Speaker D:Was it.
Speaker D:Were y'all tricking in high school?
Speaker D:This money at this time?
Speaker B:Nah.
Speaker B:Hey, yo, listen.
Speaker B:You heard what TI Said.
Speaker B:It ain't tricking if you really got it.
Speaker B:But I don't.
Speaker D:Was y'all spending it, like, in high.
Speaker B:School, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker D:Was you cashing out for the ladies?
Speaker B:Definitely.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Definitely, man.
Speaker B:I mean, they come with the game.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:They come with the game and stuff, you know, at that time, it's called tricking, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:To do whatever, whatever, whatever.
Speaker B:But when you get deep into the game, it ain't tricking no more.
Speaker B:It's actually you taking care, you know, people are doing stuff for you, having a huge responsibility.
Speaker B:So, you know what I mean?
Speaker B:So now you got girls in the game so much, you know, like, key point, I tell a girl, yo, hold this box, she'll keep this box in your crib for me.
Speaker B:She don't know what's in the box, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:But when I come pick that box up in two weeks, three weeks later, and I pick the box up and I give her two grand and shit, she like, wow, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:This is more than what I thought, you know, I thought you was just going to pay my rent, you know, six, seven hundred dollars.
Speaker B:And you like, yeah.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker C:Please take it back to them.
Speaker B:So you give her two grand, and she like, wow, you gave me all this?
Speaker B:And she looking in the back of her head like, yo, this dude is a thorough dude.
Speaker B:But in reality, that she don't really know the magnitude of what she doing.
Speaker B:So I never treated people like, you know, dumb and shit, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker A:Break that down.
Speaker A:You say she didn't know the magnitude of what she doing.
Speaker A:Explain that.
Speaker B:They don't know the magnitude of what they doing.
Speaker B:And it's best that they don't know.
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Cause shit hit the fan.
Speaker B:It's really nothing that they can tell you.
Speaker B:She just told me to hold this box, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:So, you know, ain't nothing she could tell you, you know, that's just how I used to treat People with respect and honor, like, yo, you know you gonna get paid your worth.
Speaker B:And I think that's.
Speaker B:That helped me get longevity in the game.
Speaker B:Treating people right, having loyalty and, you know, playing the game fair got me longevity.
Speaker B:But it also, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:It's a gift and a curse trying to be humble in this game.
Speaker B:And it ain't no, you know, we go in this game like we have rules and standards.
Speaker B:This is what I was taught, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:But the street don't.
Speaker B:There's no rules in this.
Speaker E:Right.
Speaker B:You know what I mean?
Speaker B:When it comes down to a person having to make a decision between you and them, it gets ugly.
Speaker E:There's one song that Jay Z had.
Speaker E:It was called I Want to say the Evil.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker E:And it kind of explained how a situation be so innocent.
Speaker E:And then once you get in the game, it gets real deep.
Speaker E:And I want to go deep with you because in one of your other interviews, you said it was a design for black people to end up in this dope game the way that they did.
Speaker E:Can you break down when you say it was all design?
Speaker E:It was all.
Speaker E:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:It was all a.
Speaker E:What you mean, like a design?
Speaker B:Yeah, it was design.
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker B:Like, how am I have this grudge?
Speaker B:How am I have hate for you?
Speaker B:Right, Right.
Speaker B:And something like we really didn't know about.
Speaker E:Right?
Speaker B:We only, you know, we saw the hustling in our communities.
Speaker B:We saw, you know, our role models and do all this.
Speaker B:But the bigger picture was that it was planted there.
Speaker E:Right?
Speaker B:You get what I'm saying?
Speaker B:So me and you have a fallout in this street game that we have a fallout in the street game that me and you didn't even put together.
Speaker B:So I can't keep this grudge against you too much longer because we all.
Speaker B:Now that we see the big pictures, like, damn, son, that shit was put for us to go against each other at some point.
Speaker E:So, you know, being older now, how do you feel about the game?
Speaker E:Like.
Speaker B:It ain't worth it.
Speaker E:Do you have any regrets?
Speaker B:Nah, man.
Speaker B:I needed to go through everything to get to where I'm at now.
Speaker B:And I have that tattoo.
Speaker B:No regrets.
Speaker B:Every decision that I made, every choice that I made from birth to here, to leaving the house, to being here, got me to wear on this blue couch, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:And I'm happy with it.
Speaker B:I got here fair and square.
Speaker B:I'm not doubting nobody to get anywhere, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:I'm not hating anywhere.
Speaker B:I've been there.
Speaker B:That game here, man, like I said, I use this.
Speaker B:I use my story as an impact, to not hate on them for what they doing to me.
Speaker B:I just say, yo, this is what the game done to my relationship with these dudes.
Speaker B:You feel me?
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:That's why it all goes back to what we just said.
Speaker B:Like it was designed for this.
Speaker B:You know what I mean?
Speaker B:So I say.
Speaker B:I say, yo, you know what?
Speaker B:You know, I have to forget these guys.
Speaker C:They say it's enough money in this shit for everybody.
Speaker C:Is that really true?
Speaker C:Like, when you really get down to it?
Speaker B:No, because everybody's not a boss man.
Speaker B:And when you realize this in this game that your man that you put on and you like, yo, I gotta connect, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:For 15 a brick over here, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:This is the connect.
Speaker B:I put you onto the connect, and you like, cool, we rocking out, we rocking out.
Speaker B:But when you go get me to connect and you getting him for 10, you don't tell him, but you want him now to be getting them up for you.
Speaker B:What part of the game is that, cuz?
Speaker B:Somebody gonna want more than the other at some point.
Speaker B:Niggas ain't thinking about, yo, we doing this together and shit, you know?
Speaker B:I mean, at some point, you like, man, I gotta connect.
Speaker B:Everybody's reaching for your spot.
Speaker B:It's just like the rap game.
Speaker B:Everybody wants your spot.
Speaker B:In reality, you could be the man.
Speaker B:I could be taking care of all y'all.
Speaker B:Y'all could be all getting y'all work for me.
Speaker B:But the minute he get a connect, that's cheaper.
Speaker B:Y'all ain't gonna mess with me.
Speaker B:And that's where the loyalty lies.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:That's where the real loyalty lies.
Speaker B:Like, I've dealt with people that I'm like, yo, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Yo, you can get it from me, bro.
Speaker B:I got it for such and such, but just on the strength of being loyal, like, nah, I'm just.
Speaker B:I'm more comfortable with my people that I deal with, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:It's 2, 3 points cheaper, but you know what I mean?
Speaker B:Guess what?
Speaker B:If I get knocked off or something, I lose something.
Speaker B:I could go to them and I could get what I need.
Speaker B:And staying loyal to who I supposed to be loyal to.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:You get what I'm saying?
Speaker B:I remember I had a stash house, right?
Speaker B:I had A stash house.
Speaker B:I was messing with this wild white chick, man.
Speaker B:Wow.
Speaker B:A white lady.
Speaker B:She was rich.
Speaker B:She owned like, three, four McDonald's, right?
Speaker B:And I was messing with her.
Speaker B:I used to use her crib as a stash spot, right?
Speaker B:One day, I go to my Strathspot, and I see a duffel bag in the closet next to my shit.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:I'm like, what the fuck is this duffel bag?
Speaker B:Like, you know, just, what is this?
Speaker B:So I reach in here, I zip on Ziggy Diablo.
Speaker B:It's five bricks in there.
Speaker B:There's five bricks in there.
Speaker B:And I'm like, what the fuck?
Speaker B:So now I gotta think, you know?
Speaker B:I mean, I'm in a small town now.
Speaker B:It's only for so many people messing with this kind of work.
Speaker B:I know exactly who to go to or where.
Speaker B:Who.
Speaker B:You know, who to go ask questions to, right?
Speaker B:So I go find homie who belong to a D.C.
Speaker B:go find homie.
Speaker B:Homie like, yo, I go, yo, homie, you know, such and such.
Speaker B:As soon as I said the white girl name, nigga ass opened up like, you already know.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Why would you be doing.
Speaker B:And I'm a little nigga, though.
Speaker B:I'm young, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:He like, yo, why would you know?
Speaker B:How would you know her name?
Speaker B:I'm like, yo, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Cause I deal with her, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:I was wondering if you left something over there.
Speaker B:Right then and there, his whole shit went off.
Speaker B:He like, yo, come on, let's go back to the crib.
Speaker B:The whole time, I know he thinking, man, I got to kill shorty.
Speaker B:I know I got to kill shooting, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:If he tell me some wild shit, this, that and the third, bro, I take homie back to the crib.
Speaker B:We go back to the crib, and as soon as we open the door, he see the bag on there, and I'm like, yo, that belong to you?
Speaker B:And he like, yeah.
Speaker B:So he, like, still looking and shit.
Speaker B:So he go.
Speaker B:He pop up under the bed.
Speaker B:He pulled another duffel bag out.
Speaker B:He got like a half a million.
Speaker B:He got a duffel bag full of cash in there underneath the bed, too.
Speaker B:He checking to see if I found that.
Speaker B:But long story short, he says, yo, shorty, you know what, man?
Speaker B:He said, yo, you gonna survive in this game a long time, bro.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Just on your loyalty of, you know, because not Too many people would do this.
Speaker B:You ever need anything, you know what I'm saying, you come and holler at me, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:You have any problems, you come and holler at me and shit.
Speaker B:And I was only.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:I probably was only getting two, three bricks myself at that time, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:But the fact of the matter is just how you play this game.
Speaker B:And like you said, I always remember what Scarface saying the same thing in his movie.
Speaker B:Like, yo, you just fly straight, man.
Speaker B:You know what I mean?
Speaker B:And stay in your lane and be honest.
Speaker B:You can go a long way.
Speaker B:This is what he told Tony.
Speaker B:Just don't fuck me.
Speaker B:You get what I'm saying?
Speaker C:I always wonder what makes you the boss.
Speaker C:Is it the plug?
Speaker C:Is it the loyalty?
Speaker C:Is it the fact that you can strong arm niggas or whoop N s?
Speaker B:What make you a boss is the way you do business.
Speaker B:Cause I had the same type of dudes that have the same work, but there's always those dudes be like, man, I be like, yo, go get it from my man Guy, man.
Speaker B:I just want to do business with you.
Speaker B:It could be the same price.
Speaker B:It could be the same thing.
Speaker B:And then I think that's what make you a boss, on how you carry yourself, how you conduct your business and shit and all this.
Speaker B:And make people comfortable.
Speaker B:You know what I mean?
Speaker B:And that's what the bigger hurt is down the line when shit hit the fan.
Speaker B:Cause I always say, yo, bro, you know, during my trial, man, with six people testifying against.
Speaker B:Yeah, right.
Speaker B:I ain't do nothing to none of them but make all six of them rich, right?
Speaker B:Well, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:So this is.
Speaker B:They here testifying against me.
Speaker B:And that's the hurting, this feeling.
Speaker E:Who was the hardest to forgive?
Speaker B:Who was the hardest to forgive?
Speaker E:Yeah.
Speaker E:In your entire life, who's the hardest person to forgive?
Speaker B:Shit, Jay, man, we gotta get it.
Speaker B:Hold on.
Speaker B:That wore me.
Speaker B:Yo, bro, that wore me out.
Speaker B:Bro, that wore me out.
Speaker B:That wore me out to a crazy dark spot.
Speaker B:Dark place, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Cause he started getting sassy with it, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker A:But let's not get too far.
Speaker A:Let's take it back and listen.
Speaker A:Because people, we do this sometimes when we get into the story.
Speaker A:We don't know what's going on.
Speaker A:So tell people.
Speaker A:Number one, how did you meet Jay Z and your connection to Jay Z?
Speaker A:Let's start there first.
Speaker B:My connection With J, right?
Speaker B:And.
Speaker B:And I want everybody to know.
Speaker B:This is.
Speaker B:This.
Speaker B:This is my disclaimer, right?
Speaker B:Because during this, I may get more passionate.
Speaker B:And sometimes my passionate about my story seems to come off wrong to people that, like, I'm bitter and I'm angry.
Speaker B:But then I go in and let you know, as you hear the story and you read my story, you scratching your head like shit.
Speaker B:I'd be more.
Speaker B:Just bitter still at this point.
Speaker B:But, yeah, we come from here, bro.
Speaker B:Me and J, we come from here.
Speaker B:Seven, eight years old, fourth grade, fifth grade.
Speaker A:And where was the location for those that don't know Marcy project, Right?
Speaker B:Yeah, we come from Marcy.
Speaker B:You know, I'm going to school one day, and I see him, and I noticed that his way of path to school is the same path as mine, and we leaving out the same building.
Speaker A:Are you older than Jay Z at the time, or y'all the same age?
Speaker B:I'm six months older than him.
Speaker A:Got you.
Speaker A:Got you.
Speaker A:So same age?
Speaker B:Pretty much, yeah.
Speaker B:So just right then and there, man, I seen how I used to hang with this other young guy.
Speaker B:Shit, he was like my role model.
Speaker B:Same age, but he was much more tougher than me, much more street than me, right?
Speaker B:He was much more street than me and much more knowledgeable and just taught me how to conduct myself.
Speaker B:And this is going to public school because we had to walk through gang territory, Puerto Rican gang territory.
Speaker B:And they used to harass us all the time if we ain't deep, you know what I mean?
Speaker B:We ain't got a bunch of us walking to school together.
Speaker B:But every time you look around the corner, they got five or six dudes on the fence going in their pocket, taking their little munch money.
Speaker B:And guess who's on the fence?
Speaker B:Jay.
Speaker B:Jay wanted them on the fence.
Speaker B:And then my man used to always be like, yo, that ain't gonna be us.
Speaker B:You understand?
Speaker B:That's never gonna be us.
Speaker B:You know, see how it is.
Speaker B:Until one day, they really stopped us.
Speaker B:My man showed me how to.
Speaker B:Yo, my man just flipped out on them.
Speaker B:Like, he flipped out to show them that he wasn't scared.
Speaker B:And the shit went in reverse.
Speaker B:Like, they really didn't press us.
Speaker B:They end up saying, yo, B, you know, you okay?
Speaker B:And you could get through here.
Speaker B:Nobody gonna bother you.
Speaker B:And he like, yeah, this is my cousin, too.
Speaker B:And he getting the same flavor, this and that, right?
Speaker B:So with him telling them that, I see you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:I end up telling Jay that.
Speaker B:Cause Jay from my building, like, yo, Bro, walk to school with me, man.
Speaker B:So they won't, you know, they won't be fucking with you.
Speaker B:And that's how from there, we just took off.
Speaker B:Fifth grade, sixth grade, seventh grade, you.
Speaker A:Know, like, real childhood friendship.
Speaker B:Yo, when I sit here and tell.
Speaker A:You that's like these n.
Speaker A:Like, I met them like that.
Speaker A:Like, young like that.
Speaker B:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker B:Yo, see, so that's the betrayal of it.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:When you young like that and y'all come up like that, you know, then as I'm coming up, you know, it's beginning.
Speaker B:It's not my man.
Speaker B:That's my little brother.
Speaker B:You get what I'm saying?
Speaker B:That's my little brother at this point now, when we coming up in the hood.
Speaker B:Cause now we more protective of our set, our community, our little three buildings, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:They not gonna come over here and mess with us.
Speaker B:So now I'm protective of them and stuff, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:By the time we getting into junior high school and.
Speaker B:And all of this stuff, but we had separated once we got to, like, junior high school, I was more into hustling, making my own money.
Speaker B:I was more into, if this shit don't make dollars, it don't make sense, you know, Atari coming out now, everybody, this is when the video games are coming out.
Speaker B:Now, I'm the only little nigga that's 15, 16, that's gonna go right in my room and get my own $500 and buy my own Atari.
Speaker C:Atari cost 500.
Speaker B:Yo, when the Atari first came out, that shit was 599.
Speaker B:And I used to see kids beg their parents.
Speaker B:They parents like, where you going to get?
Speaker B:And I went and bought my own shit.
Speaker B:My mom's like, yo, what you went and bought?
Speaker B:You spent $600.
Speaker B:And two days later, my Atari next door in J house, she like, where your Atari at?
Speaker B:Jay got it.
Speaker B:He playing with it.
Speaker B:Well, why you spend $600?
Speaker B:Cause I was the type of kid like, this shit ain't.
Speaker B:This is where the money at in this.
Speaker B:It's fun, but there's no money in this shit.
Speaker B:I gave this shit.
Speaker B:I gave that shit away.
Speaker B:I was just always prone to making money, man.
Speaker B:At a young age, man, and with my little side hustles, before the drug game with newspapers and running to the store for the older people and cleaning up my step by's bar, I was stacking bread, and I'm talking about 5, $600 every week for a little junior high school.
Speaker A:Dude, how much did the stash get up to?
Speaker B:My mom's found 30 something thousand dollars.
Speaker B:When I was like, 17, she found 30 something thousand.
Speaker A:30 something thousand back then, yeah.
Speaker B:She found 30 something.
Speaker B:I had shit to spend it on.
Speaker C:My mama would've whooped my ass.
Speaker B:That was legitimate legal money, though.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Like, that was just all my little hustles and shit over there.
Speaker B:I was going to school with a stack in my pocket.
Speaker B:I was going to school.
Speaker B:1500.
Speaker B:I'm battling my Spanish homie.
Speaker B: lashed a thousand, he flashed: Speaker B:That's how we used to battle each other with who could bring the most money to school.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:And I was just like.
Speaker B:And we got all the girls, we buying all the lunches.
Speaker B:We doing all this.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker A:Cause lunch is like 50 Cent.
Speaker B:Nah, I used to buy beef patty day.
Speaker B:I used to buy, like, six trays.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker B:And shit.
Speaker B:That should be all stacked by the table.
Speaker B:Stacked up by my table before I get the table.
Speaker B:I don't pay for that shit in advance.
Speaker B:And I'm probably, you know, that was the best day.
Speaker B:Beef patty day and shit.
Speaker B:And, you know, it just like.
Speaker B:Nah, man.
Speaker B:I was born around money.
Speaker B:It just wasn't the fact, like, I was my mom's wasn't poised, struggled to take care of us and none of that shit.
Speaker B:Just like, I always had a hustle, and she never really worried about me.
Speaker B:Cause.
Speaker A:So why was y'all living in the projects?
Speaker B:Why was we living in the projects?
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:You was getting this paper.
Speaker B:30,000.
Speaker A:Why the fuck was y'all still in the projects?
Speaker B:You know, as a kid, you think.
Speaker B:You don't think about.
Speaker B:Yo, let's move with this.
Speaker E:Yeah.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:You don't think about what I'm thinking about all the latest, whatever.
Speaker B:Really.
Speaker B:I don't even want nothing to buy.
Speaker B:I just was just more prone to just hustling.
Speaker C:A lot of kids is like, when you young, the projects is fun.
Speaker A:Nah, for sure.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:I mean, yeah, it was.
Speaker B:I had no thoughts of moving out even when we had enough money to buy the whole block.
Speaker B:Was it thinking about buying the block?
Speaker B:Neither.
Speaker B:This is part of what I teach.
Speaker B:I teach class.
Speaker B:I teach in prison, too, in Rikers.
Speaker B:And I tell them that, you know, poster.
Speaker B:Tell them.
Speaker B:I talk about all the money I had and all that Stuff, too.
Speaker B:And I make sure I tell them, like, yo, they'd be like, what happened to the bread?
Speaker B:What happened to all the cars, the money, this and that?
Speaker B:And I tell them, like, see, what school.
Speaker B:When they tell you to stay in school, what happens?
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:We wasn't financially educated, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:As far as concerned, the way that money was coming, we was always thinking that, man, how come I'm going to go broke?
Speaker B:How I'm gonna go broke?
Speaker B:Me and my man eating.
Speaker B:If I go down, I got him this.
Speaker B:That.
Speaker B:Reaganomics was a good era, man.
Speaker B:Everybody had money.
Speaker B:But I ain't gonna say a lot.
Speaker B:Everybody had money in Reaganomics, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:So.
Speaker B:But was we thinking.
Speaker B:Nah, we wasn't thinking at all, man, with the money we was playing with.
Speaker B:And I ain't really.
Speaker C:If you could go back now to your younger self, what would you say?
Speaker C:What advice would you give him?
Speaker B:Be more organized.
Speaker A:We still on JC child.
Speaker A:Yeah, but.
Speaker A:So you tricking off the beef patties?
Speaker B:Oh, yeah, yeah.
Speaker B:So that, you know, throughout.
Speaker B:I ain't have no tough childhood.
Speaker B:None of that, bro.
Speaker B:I think we all get these tests in life, right?
Speaker B:On what choices you gonna make.
Speaker B:We all gonna get these tests in life on what decisions we gonna make.
Speaker B:And it just seemed like once drugs fell in my hands, I was just successful.
Speaker A:So what was.
Speaker A:So tell me what successful meant back then.
Speaker A:Like, what was a successful weekend?
Speaker B:Successful was my plan worked out.
Speaker B:When I came home in 91, I had a plan.
Speaker B:I went to prison.
Speaker B: to jail for the first time in: Speaker A:What was the charge on that?
Speaker B:Oh, man, I might have had five or six drug charges.
Speaker B:I might have five or six drug charges.
Speaker A:What age?
Speaker B:When I went to jail?
Speaker B:I was 20.
Speaker B:Almost 20.
Speaker C:Gotcha.
Speaker B:Yeah, five or six.
Speaker B:And I kept running.
Speaker B:They kept building up cases.
Speaker B:I kept running and they kept building up cases to a point where my lawyer like, yo, bro, you can't run no more.
Speaker B:You gotta do some time.
Speaker B:And meanwhile, I'm telling him, bro, I can't do no time.
Speaker B:You understand what I'm telling the lawyer?
Speaker B:Tell my lawyer I can't do no time.
Speaker B:He like.
Speaker B:He said, come back.
Speaker B:He like, yo, they won four years flat.
Speaker B:You do it, you do 18 months, you home, and I'm looking at him like, I told you I can't do four.
Speaker B:I don't want to do no time.
Speaker B:And my lawyer was like this, well, you got more money.
Speaker B:Well, that ain't A problem, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:And I'm gonna postpone this another month.
Speaker B:He come back, he like, yo, bro, okay, you got 15 more thousand dollars.
Speaker B:Boom.
Speaker B:Okay, now I got you a two.
Speaker B:I got you two years.
Speaker B:What part you ain't understand, man?
Speaker B:I don't wanna do no time.
Speaker B:He dragged me down to about out of 40, $50,000 later, he dragged me down to a county bid with all those charges.
Speaker B:I had a county bid, four months, you'd be home.
Speaker B:I could use that.
Speaker B:I could do that.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:My lawyer was the type of dude, like, the only thing he want to talk about, you got my money before we go, When I walk and see his off, you got my money?
Speaker B:You got my money.
Speaker B:And that's.
Speaker B:That's on the state level.
Speaker B:You could play with them like that.
Speaker B:I always had that kind of lawyer.
Speaker B:My lawyer.
Speaker B:Yo, look, we gonna be in here 10 minutes, we outta here.
Speaker B:We into this.
Speaker B:You know, I walk in the courtroom, Boom, I'm in, I'm out.
Speaker B:I had a nice state lawyer, high class state lawyer all the time.
Speaker B:But when it was time for me to go to jail, like I said, my plan worked.
Speaker B:That's what I meant when it's successful.
Speaker B:The whole time that I was in there, I was writing about what I'm gonna do when I come home, how I'm gonna handle how I'm gonna treat these guys when I get home, how I'm gonna eat, how I'm gonna be a boss.
Speaker B:How could I be a boss when I get home?
Speaker B:I knew all five of y'all was hustlers before I went in.
Speaker B:I knew four or five of y'all had potential.
Speaker B:Cause I was messing with y'all before I went in.
Speaker B:I was like, when I get home, I'm gonna make all y'all rich.
Speaker B:And then I'm gonna get mine on the back, on the back end.
Speaker B:You understand what I'm saying?
Speaker B:So I blew up fast.
Speaker B:Six months from when I came home, man, I probably had a quarter million dollars.
Speaker B:I was with the same team that I told you that I'm gonna make bosses.
Speaker B:I said, no, you know what I'm gonna do?
Speaker B:Check this out.
Speaker B:Boom.
Speaker B:I got this half a brick.
Speaker B:You gonna buy.
Speaker B:You gonna buy nine, and you gonna buy nine, you gonna buy nine, I'm gonna hit you with the other nine, right?
Speaker B:When you finish with that and you come back, you got more money, right?
Speaker B:Then you gonna give me my money, and I'm gonna see and say, so.
Speaker B:I was charging you 13 an ounce, right?
Speaker B:So gag.
Speaker B:Give me your money now.
Speaker B:Give me the money for a half a brick right now.
Speaker B:I'm gonna give it to you for about $1,000 an ounce.
Speaker B:They gonna jump on that, right?
Speaker B:Hell, they.
Speaker E:What can you tell us, like, crew members, the nicknames that you roll on your four.
Speaker E:Your four people when you young?
Speaker E:Are you able to disclose that?
Speaker B:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker B:Um, me, Jay, Panama, and my Uncle Buzz.
Speaker E:Okay.
Speaker B:When I moved to Trenton, when I say I moved to Trenton, I moved to Trent.
Speaker B:My Uncle Buzz was there already.
Speaker B:I'm in my aunt crib, My aunt uncle crib.
Speaker B:Now I'm a visitor.
Speaker B:My aunt mama visited.
Speaker B:My aunt took me in.
Speaker B:My Uncle Buzz was already there.
Speaker B:I always talked about my best friend.
Speaker B:Always talk about my best friend.
Speaker B:Jay, Jay, Jay, Jay.
Speaker B:Jay would come down on the weekends.
Speaker B:Jay would come down on the weekends, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:To a point where, shit, my aunt like, you my son, too.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Then them weekends started to weeks.
Speaker B:Then them weeks started to like, yo, he had telling his mom he ain't coming back.
Speaker B:I live in Jersey now with me.
Speaker B:And then from there, probably a year later, I can't even tell you how Panama got in the crew.
Speaker B:It was one of those type of situations where a nigga bought him around and he never left.
Speaker B:One of my homeboys bought him around, and he just never left.
Speaker B:He fit right in.
Speaker B:He fitted right in with the hustle, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Everybody had a role to play in that household.
Speaker B:And we all in my aunt crib.
Speaker B:Now we got.
Speaker B:I got my two friends now living with me and my Aunt Jay in Panama, are living with me and my aunt and his Uncle Buzz, and we just running around Trenton getting money.
Speaker B:My Uncle Buzz, like, he had this.
Speaker B:He had this police look with him, right?
Speaker B:So he was easier to move up and down the highway, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Police.
Speaker B:We'd be in a whole nother car, but the police would look at my uncle and be like, man, this nigga like the police, he keep going.
Speaker B:He just had a police look.
Speaker B:So it was always good for.
Speaker B:That's the role my uncle played, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:I'm going to get this from A to B.
Speaker B:And y'all take care of this and that and the third.
Speaker B:So we had a little team action going on.
Speaker B:And then after a while, me always searching for more money, always searching for more money while them niggas all right, the block is cool.
Speaker B:Y'all on the block.
Speaker B:Y'all know the block, this and that.
Speaker B:I'm going on the west side and see what things look like over there.
Speaker B:This is me in other cities in different territories.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Most people be like, yo, how the fuck you go to other cities and just take over and do that?
Speaker B:It ain't easy.
Speaker B:It ain't no walk in the park where you can go in other cities and do what you do and shit.
Speaker B:It's your demeanor.
Speaker B:It's how you come out like, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Yo, I come in peace, and I come to break bread with y'all.
Speaker B:So meanwhile, while they doing this, I'm opening up operations here.
Speaker B:I'm opening up ocean.
Speaker B:There's everybody playing the team effort.
Speaker B:By the time I got to start seeing some real money, and I started to say, yo, I got a spot somewhere else in Maryland.
Speaker B:I'm gonna leave y'all here and Trent and hold this down, and then I'm gonna go to Maryland and see what that's like.
Speaker B:And when I went to Maryland, that shit turned up something way different than I thought I ever seen.
Speaker B:I went from 0 to 100 real quick.
Speaker B:I ended up selling gin.
Speaker B:I'm like, yo, you can shut this shit down.
Speaker B:Like, Trenton is not even worth it.
Speaker B:This is like a dark cloud out of me.
Speaker B:I was having problems out of there anyway, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:I was like, that was a good look for me to just, you know, go find somewhere else to find some.
Speaker B:Get some money.
Speaker B:I started hustling, started making my way down in Maryland and stuff like that.
Speaker B:And about time I set shop up and down, like I said.
Speaker B:Another thing.
Speaker B:The same blueprint, bro.
Speaker B:The same blueprint I use down in Maryland and the same thing.
Speaker B:Yo, my brother, my brother Jade, my brother.
Speaker B:People coming, you know.
Speaker B:Then by the time you come, they already expecting you.
Speaker B:Oh, you the Haven brother.
Speaker B:Oh, I heard you.
Speaker B:And he's already in.
Speaker B:So everywhere, every move I made, I made sure I had my little brother with me.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:So we just started.
Speaker B:I just started getting more and more money when it turned down to Maryland.
Speaker C:So when did it become the Rock Boys or the.
Speaker B:When did they made up the song Rock Boys?
Speaker B:It never was the Rock Boys.
Speaker B:We just had a clique, okay?
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:We just had a clique and ran with that.
Speaker B:It was never rock.
Speaker B:We ain't never have a gang.
Speaker B:We just ran with each other, and that was it.
Speaker C:When did the music start?
Speaker C:When did you Start hearing about him doing music and things of that nature.
Speaker B:First of all, the music, man.
Speaker B:People ask me, yo, you surprised at where he at?
Speaker B:Like, nah.
Speaker B:Cause I seen this shit when he was doing it on toilet paper, bro.
Speaker B:I seen this shit where my heart was running around the crib going, what's this on this little piece of paper and shit.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:And Jay be like, that's mine.
Speaker B:I just wrote that.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:So I seen him when he was doing all of that.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:And I knew how good he was all the time.
Speaker B:So it was nothing for me to go across town and hear dudes rapping.
Speaker B:And I'd be like, man, these dudes is whack.
Speaker B:And like, really, my brother.
Speaker B:Eat you up.
Speaker B:And they'd be like, what?
Speaker B:What?
Speaker B:What?
Speaker B:I said, don't make me go get this dude.
Speaker B:I used to use him as, like, a weapon on the street when it came to that rap game.
Speaker B:Like, man, you don't want it with him, man.
Speaker B:He gonna embarrass you.
Speaker B:So, you know.
Speaker C:So you said he used to write.
Speaker C:Cause you know, Jay Z is infamous for not having to write.
Speaker C:Or he just walking.
Speaker B:Oh, no, he had to start somewhere.
Speaker C:Okay?
Speaker B:He had to start.
Speaker B:He can't say he never did that before.
Speaker C:Gotcha.
Speaker B:Nah, he had to start somewhere, man.
Speaker A:Now, did Jay z really lose 92 bricks?
Speaker A:That's what I want to know.
Speaker B:Oh, man, you got.
Speaker B:That's in the book.
Speaker B:Hold up.
Speaker B:That's in the book.
Speaker A:92 bricks, nigga.
Speaker A:What was that discussion?
Speaker A:Like, you gotta have a team meeting when you lose 92 bricks, dog.
Speaker B:I wasn't in that camp.
Speaker B:But, I mean, they may have exaggerated about the 92, but it was a big loss.
Speaker B:I know they took a big loss at one time.
Speaker E:So would you say Jay was street smart?
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker E:Who was smarter, you or him?
Speaker E:When it came to the streets, he was.
Speaker A:Why you say that?
Speaker B:Cause I'm gonna go in hard and heavy, and he gonna think about it.
Speaker A:Oh, so in your mind, chess is part of the street game?
Speaker A:So in your mind, he played chess better than you did?
Speaker B:Wow, that's a.
Speaker B:Wow, that's a good analogy if you're gonna say it like that.
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker B:I'm a.
Speaker B:That N said, no, I'm gonna play like I'm on the clock.
Speaker B:And he gonna play like it's no clock.
Speaker A:Gotcha.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker A:That makes sense.
Speaker B:Like, I'm gonna do it.
Speaker B:I'm gonna make the Move fast without really thinking.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Like, yo, it's on the other side of that door, J.
Speaker B:If I say this block right here, I'm gonna go out here and take this block and this and that and the third, and just to go take it, Jay will be more organized and be like, yo, bro, why don't you just hit them niggas and let them work and give them a few dollars, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:He gonna be more of a thinker like that.
Speaker B:I'm gonna be putting in the work.
Speaker C:Wouldn't that make some people say, you were scary a risk if you think it like that?
Speaker C:Like, he was afraid to take that risk or he was afraid to make them take risk.
Speaker B:He ain't gonna take.
Speaker B:You know, he ain't gonna take the risk.
Speaker B:I'm gonna take the risk.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker B:You know what I mean?
Speaker C:On the team, that would make you the better player.
Speaker B:Not even that.
Speaker B:I'm not even gonna let him take the risk.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Cause I was gonna say, you said, see, when you equated it to the clock player, the clock player is usually the more skilled player.
Speaker A:So that's why I'm like.
Speaker B:Cause he got it mastered.
Speaker B:But if you don't know how to play on the clock like that, you gonna just make the move.
Speaker B:Cause you try to beat the clock.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:When you're doing the clock, that make the mistake.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:And so if you're the clock player, to me, that means you're the more.
Speaker B:Yeah, you could put it that way.
Speaker B:But that was a good analogy for me to get away from, because I love chess, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:I know what that's about.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:But he just more of an analyzer and thinker.
Speaker E:Is Jay a gangster?
Speaker B:No.
Speaker B:No.
Speaker A:So hold on.
Speaker A:So when you hear.
Speaker A:Because he has.
Speaker A:There's several songs we're going to touch on, but when you hear the latest song where he kind of was talking spicy in that song, you know, I forget.
Speaker A:He was like, basically like, nigga, we can.
Speaker A:We can take it there.
Speaker B:Like, oh, yeah, that's right.
Speaker A:Was that directed towards you or.
Speaker A:Cause we was all trying to figure out.
Speaker A:We all thought it was towards Dame, but then when you look back at.
Speaker A:I started looking at these interviews, I was like, I don't know, man.
Speaker B:A lot of this stuff is subliminal.
Speaker A:Exactly.
Speaker B:It could go both ways.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Like, he did the song with too short, and it was all good a week Ago, Right.
Speaker B:Everybody thought that was for me.
Speaker B:Cause I was going through that at the time that came out.
Speaker B:But when you start thinking about it, that's everybody's problem.
Speaker B:I'm sure Puffy sitting there thinking about it too, like it was all good a week ago, wasn't it?
Speaker B:You see what I'm saying?
Speaker B:So that's everybody's issue when things ain't going right.
Speaker B:You know what I mean?
Speaker E:If you had to label him in the streets, what would Jay's title be?
Speaker E:You know, some niggas players, some nps.
Speaker E:Some niggas is jack boys, some niggas is gangsters.
Speaker B:Some niggas about to label him.
Speaker E:Yes.
Speaker E:At this point, not this point back.
Speaker E:I wanted you.
Speaker E:Well, at this point.
Speaker E:Yeah.
Speaker E:What would you label him right now?
Speaker B:A coward.
Speaker B:Right, A coward.
Speaker B:Wow.
Speaker B:Cold hearted, right?
Speaker B:What would I label him as?
Speaker B:He, it's just a lot of cowardly he done.
Speaker B:Right, right.
Speaker B:Sucker shit.
Speaker B:So how do you label it?
Speaker B:Like, I don't know, what do I label him as?
Speaker B:A coward.
Speaker B:What's the first sucker move that he pulled?
Speaker A:What's the first sucker move that he pulled, in your opinion?
Speaker A:Like.
Speaker A:Cause y'all are childhood friends, so I'm sure red flags might have been there.
Speaker A:You let shit slide.
Speaker A:But then there's something specifically that made you go, wait a second.
Speaker A:That was some sucker head shit.
Speaker B:Wow.
Speaker B:I got a string of them.
Speaker B:But look at me in my face right?
Speaker B:During my trial, look at me in my face telling me, yo, don't worry about it, bro.
Speaker B:I got you.
Speaker B:And I never see him again.
Speaker C:Damn.
Speaker B:And I come to you and say, yo, look, I don't need nothing but help with.
Speaker B:To get out of this lawyer.
Speaker B:I don't give a fuck.
Speaker B:I need help to get out of this.
Speaker B:You say, yo, relax, don't worry about it, bro.
Speaker B:I got you and I never see you again.
Speaker B:I think that might have been the worst right then and there, but it also might have been the best, right?
Speaker B:Because I learned from that right there.
Speaker E:Did y'all ever have any animosity against each other before all this took place?
Speaker E:Before you got.
Speaker E:Was there ever any issue that y'all ever had?
Speaker B:We had issues, but not to issues to equate to him treat me like this.
Speaker B:When I say.
Speaker B:When I say that, I'm saying you mad at me for what?
Speaker B:You know, we could talk it out or something.
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker E:Cause the reason I'm asking you this is because sometimes we have issues with each other and it festers and we just don't talk about It.
Speaker E:And so when a person gets in a position, then the real shit comes out.
Speaker E:You see what I'm saying?
Speaker E:So maybe if you speak on one.
Speaker B:Of those issues that he said in, On Drake album.
Speaker B:Which one?
Speaker B:Yeah, Drake album.
Speaker B:He spoke about an incident with someone I know put him in fear of his life, right?
Speaker B:And he spoke about it.
Speaker B:He said, yo, but you still chill with him.
Speaker B:How could I deal with you?
Speaker B:And you still want me to deal with you after you know what he did, right?
Speaker B:So I say to that, like, yo, first of all, you never came to me, man to man, to talk about the situation.
Speaker B:You can't wait till you get in this to get in your space and then speak about it where.
Speaker B:You know what I mean?
Speaker B:This is how you feel.
Speaker B:But you never told me this.
Speaker B:You never told me this because now you would have got the answer to all of that.
Speaker B:You know what I mean?
Speaker B:So when he says that, I'm like, yo, you'd have been mad enough to say, yo, look, this is what happened and this is how that happened.
Speaker B:But you was in the wrong.
Speaker B:So you have to admit that you was in the wrong to cause the problem.
Speaker B:My man saw you stealing from me.
Speaker B:He saw you.
Speaker B:You red handed, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:You're lucky he didn't kill you.
Speaker B:You know why he didn't kill you?
Speaker B:Cause he got love for me.
Speaker B:You understand what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Cause he got love for me.
Speaker B:So when he sit here telling me, yo, this is what's going on between me and Jay and I gotta tell him, okay, just relax.
Speaker B:He looking at me side eyes like, yo, these ain't.
Speaker B:This ain't the rules.
Speaker B:He's only playing by the rules.
Speaker B:You get what I'm saying?
Speaker B:But I'm saying to him, like on behalf, on behalf of me, just let that ride.
Speaker B:And now Jay stuck now.
Speaker B:Now he's stuck.
Speaker B:Oh, you with him.
Speaker B:There's no conversation here.
Speaker B:That's when I say, a coward.
Speaker B:Cause you ain't.
Speaker B:You can't.
Speaker B:Man, A man look a man in his eyes and he say what he gotta say.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:If you didn't like a situation or if you didn't, you could have took that upon with him, right?
Speaker B:But in the reality of it, if I was around, if I was home, this wouldn't have never happened.
Speaker B:You know, it ain't my fault.
Speaker B:You show greed, you know, you showed greed in the operation that you ain't have no part of that you shouldn't have been around, that you shouldn't have been in.
Speaker B:And this is what happened.
Speaker B:J, I've never been in.
Speaker B:Any issues on the street, any issues he ever had, I handled that.
Speaker B:Any issues from reasonable doubt.
Speaker B:When he sit here and tell you my man got his side sprayed up on uptown block, that's me.
Speaker B:That's me with this scar from here up here.
Speaker B:So he never had no street issues.
Speaker B:Niggas rob him.
Speaker B:I'm going to see them, you understand?
Speaker B:When I go see them, them niggas got me on the floor with the guns that surrounded with the guns to my head, behind him.
Speaker B:Only thing saved my life is me really knowing these niggas.
Speaker B:They spared my life.
Speaker B:Niggas rob him again.
Speaker B:He's never had no street situations while I was around.
Speaker B:Cause I'ma handle that.
Speaker B:He wasn't never built for that.
Speaker B:That's my little brother.
Speaker B:And like I said, when I got shot for him, like, I really got shot for him.
Speaker B:Cause I could have got off the set.
Speaker B:But the only thing thinking, only thing in my mind triggering my mind when this is going down before that shooting is his mother.
Speaker B:How am I gonna be able to face his mother if I let something happen to Jay?
Speaker B:I remember her words.
Speaker B:I remember his mother saying, please, when he left to live with me and Trent.
Speaker B:I remember his mother saying, just look out for my boy.
Speaker B:Make sure my boy is good.
Speaker B:So that's what's going through my mind before I get shot.
Speaker B:You know what else going through my mind?
Speaker B:My moms ain't gonna go for it.
Speaker B:I can't even come home and say, yo, Jay got shot.
Speaker B:My moms would be like, what?
Speaker B:How you let that happen?
Speaker B:So that's what kind of shit I'm talking about.
Speaker B:So when he get into this situation, he don't know how to handle this.
Speaker B:Well, all he had to do was just come and say, yo, what is yo, apologize.
Speaker B:I ain't know.
Speaker B:Whatever.
Speaker B:This is where I go to show people that, yo, you could do whatever you want.
Speaker B:How many times for a person, take care of a person, do this, do that.
Speaker B:But the one time that they don't agree, if something go wrong, how they could just toss you to the side?
Speaker B:Toss you to the side.
Speaker B:Not you.
Speaker B:Just you, you, your mama, your sisters and everything.
Speaker B:So when a nigga tell me about, man, you still whining.
Speaker B:Oh, man, this story been going on 25 years.
Speaker B:Yeah, you still.
Speaker B:Nigga, you ain't walking my shoes.
Speaker B:You ain't seen my mom.
Speaker B:You know what it is?
Speaker B:Waking my mom up three in the morning, talking about Jay locked up, and she get up and go get him out of jail, and you're going to tell me, oh, you sound better still, nigger.
Speaker C:Knowing what you know now and being what you.
Speaker C:All the things that you went through, do you take that bullet again?
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker C:Oh, that's deep.
Speaker B:Cause that's just who I am, bro.
Speaker B:Knowing what I know, Knowing what I know.
Speaker B:And now, I wouldn't put ourself in that position.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker B:And that's the problem with betrayal, because you don't know until y'all get into that, until y'all enter into that dark side.
Speaker B:I don't know.
Speaker B:Me and you go out to the club tonight and some shit jump off, and I'm looking for you to be back here when shit go down and we rumbling and I look around and you ran on me.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker C:Right.
Speaker B:I don't want to get to that point to figure out that you not a fighter.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:I'm like, nah.
Speaker B:So that's the point when I talk to people and tell them, like, yo, know who your company are?
Speaker B:Know who your friends are?
Speaker C:I was just gonna ask.
Speaker C:So was Jay Z really your friend?
Speaker C:I know you was his friend, but was he really your friend?
Speaker A:They was family.
Speaker E:Sound.
Speaker C:I mean, shit n be family, but.
Speaker B:Nigga, nigga, it's almost like a nigga could be hired in jealousy for a long time.
Speaker B:Nude wants your spot.
Speaker B:He could cheer you on and this and that, and the whole time, he could be learning from your mistakes.
Speaker B:He could be building his shit the way he wanted.
Speaker C:Cause you know what I'm noticing about all of what encompasses around him is oskino dame you.
Speaker C:It's.
Speaker C:Everybody's saying greed.
Speaker B:Everybody, you say greed.
Speaker B:Greed, the money.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker B:Or the power.
Speaker A:One of the two.
Speaker C:I mean, it looks more like power.
Speaker B:It's this spell.
Speaker B:Right, right.
Speaker B:That Jay got.
Speaker B:That's why I kind of look at Kanye and Damon on them.
Speaker B:They the old me, right?
Speaker B:They the YouTube me.
Speaker C:Yeah, right.
Speaker B:You understand what I'm saying that this dame look like the old YouTube me to me?
Speaker B:Cause he hurt, bro.
Speaker B:He hurt.
Speaker B:Kanye hurt because they looking at him like there was so much trust there.
Speaker B:And like I said, when they needed him most, J not there.
Speaker B:And that's the betrayal part.
Speaker C:So this is just his mo and beans.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker B:A lot of people.
Speaker B:Jazzo source money is a yo.
Speaker B:It's a slew of people that he just ruined their careers.
Speaker E:Right?
Speaker B:And I'm talking about people we grew up with.
Speaker E:What would you Want from him?
Speaker B:What I want from him?
Speaker B:Yeah, Jay.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:At this point now, it's.
Speaker B:I would want.
Speaker B:Yo, why?
Speaker E:Just to talk, to answer face to face.
Speaker B:One answer, right?
Speaker B:One answer.
Speaker B:I.
Speaker B:Yeah, I would like to hear why, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Because it.
Speaker B:It drove me to a spot trying to figure out why.
Speaker B:You can't figure out why a person made the decisions or make these decisions that they make.
Speaker B:You just can't.
Speaker B:I can't.
Speaker B:I sit back and be like, well, why is he doing this?
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker B:But then again, the hustler that I am, I started using this as a stepping stool now, right?
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Like, all right, cool.
Speaker B:He ain't gonna give me nothing.
Speaker B:He ain't gonna talk to me.
Speaker B:But he responding to my shit on what I post.
Speaker B:All his shit is coming through music, right?
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:And by his shit, he just verifying me more and more and more.
Speaker B:It's just verifying me more and more and more.
Speaker B:That fucked the Haven for caving.
Speaker B:Yeah, it was the worst thing that I ever heard, but it also done some wonders for me.
Speaker B:It gave the world an opportunity to know that.
Speaker B:Damn.
Speaker B:He's talking about somebody named dehavan, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Now it's up for me to clear that up.
Speaker B:And how I'm gonna make money from that.
Speaker B:See, he ain't giving me no money, but I'm gonna make money from what he does.
Speaker B:You get what I'm saying?
Speaker B:This is why some of them.
Speaker B:You see in some of the interviews I send you, they won't even mention my name now, right?
Speaker B:They won't give.
Speaker B:They won't mention my name because they know that nigga will make money from that.
Speaker B:And what's wrong with that?
Speaker B:Nothing.
Speaker B:That's the sucker shit.
Speaker B:That's the coward shit.
Speaker B:You don't want to see me eat, bro.
Speaker B:You don't want to see another man put food on his table.
Speaker E:If you could talk to him right now and just tell him something that you just want to tell him, what would you tell him?
Speaker E:Like, if you could just.
Speaker E:Cause he gonna watch this.
Speaker B:What would I tell Jay?
Speaker E:Yeah, if you could just tell him something that you been wanting to say to him.
Speaker B:I ain't got nothing to say to him.
Speaker B:It's almost like people be asking me, like I'm wrong, like I need to go to him and explain something to him.
Speaker B:I ain't got nothing to say.
Speaker B:You said it all.
Speaker B:You called me that.
Speaker B:You said this.
Speaker B:Why should I be Wanting to talk to you about something that you should be coming to me with.
Speaker B:I ain't no kiss ass dude.
Speaker B:I did that already with.
Speaker B:That's what got the YouTube, me trying to reach out and have a conversation.
Speaker B:And the nigga treat me like I don't know who is this dude.
Speaker B:So really, I don't really have nothing to say.
Speaker B:But if he willing to sit down and admit.
Speaker B:Sit down and he has something to say to answer to, what I'm looking for is like, why?
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Other than me putting the pieces together myself when I start scratching them, how do this shit look?
Speaker B:You leave me in jail, you leave me in jail, you leave me in prison, I get out.
Speaker B:And when I get out, you associating with these people.
Speaker B:Shit look funny.
Speaker B:The people we stay supposed to stay away from you socializing with.
Speaker B:That's why when it comes to this snitching shit and dealing business with this one and this one, talking to that one and this one, I don't fuck with snitches.
Speaker B:I don't.
Speaker B:I advocate.
Speaker B:The people I advocate for, niggas ain't never coming home.
Speaker B:People I advocate from, they done 20, they done 30 already.
Speaker B:The people I advocate for, the people in my DMs or on my line talking about, yo, keep doing what you doing, bro.
Speaker B:Keep talking about this, man.
Speaker B:Because at the end of the day, I'm watching N S come home on some celebrity shit, right?
Speaker B:And they snitched, right?
Speaker A:So how.
Speaker A:So I gotta ask, how does it feel, right, when you see Jay Z in no Hook basically say that you.
Speaker B:Snitched on them, right?
Speaker A:And now you have to kind of fight for your reputation.
Speaker B:I gotta fight, yo.
Speaker B:Do you know the impact what that does to my life?
Speaker B:I seen you.
Speaker B:The video with Matt Hoffa.
Speaker C:Yes.
Speaker B:Right, right.
Speaker B:They say the line, fuck the Haven for Caven.
Speaker B:This is what people remember.
Speaker B:They don't remember the Haven introduced me to the game.
Speaker B:They don't remember DeHaven that changed my life up.
Speaker B:They don't remember the good shit, right?
Speaker B:This is what they stuck on, right?
Speaker B:This is what I had to deal with in the streets when that shit came out.
Speaker B:Only the real people knew that I was in prison with that no paperwork, that noticed load of law.
Speaker B:No, nah, that shit ain't right.
Speaker B:But they gonna question.
Speaker B:They not gonna question him about his credibility.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:That's what they say.
Speaker B:Like, yo, you know, why do you.
Speaker B:Why do you associate with Jaguar?
Speaker B:Jaguar.
Speaker B:Shout out to Jaguar, man.
Speaker B:That's my girl.
Speaker B:You understand?
Speaker B:Jaguar put me in the.
Speaker B:Jaguar got me here when most niggas ain't fucking with me.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Jaguar got me here.
Speaker B:People be like, yo, man, you know what you think about what she be saying?
Speaker B:Well, some of the stuff she's.
Speaker B:Jaguar speaks.
Speaker B:When she say something, it's not happening.
Speaker B:Then when it happens, they like, oh, Jaguar this and that.
Speaker B:That's.
Speaker B:Who's to say that she don't.
Speaker B:Calling her a liar about what she might know and what she know.
Speaker B:I can't call her no liar.
Speaker B:You ain't question Jay credibility about what he just said about me.
Speaker B:You understand what I'm saying, right?
Speaker B:This is the same shit.
Speaker B:Y'all can't.
Speaker B:Y'all gonna pick and choose.
Speaker A:So how hard is it to.
Speaker A:Because we're talking about one of the most popular rappers, if not the most popular rapper, weaponizing their fan base against you.
Speaker A:How hard is it to fight that battle?
Speaker B:Y'all taking a chance.
Speaker C:We definitely don't.
Speaker B:Only difference is this.
Speaker B:I'm not in here with no alleged.
Speaker B:I'm not talking about nothing alleged here.
Speaker B:Everything is my life, real life, you understand?
Speaker B:So we ain't on no Alleged.
Speaker B:So we good here.
Speaker B:But when we start talking about, you know, like I said, with all these people that come home and they praising them, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:After they on tow, where we doing that at?
Speaker B:How you even gonna go on this camera?
Speaker B:Like, shit is sweet, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Before you go talk to.
Speaker B:You ain't going to talk to none of the people you affected.
Speaker B:You ain't going to say, yo, man, listen, bro, I know I had this conversation with my homie before, and some of them, you know, I have this conversation.
Speaker B:I can ask you the same thing.
Speaker B:Me and you crimeys, I tell on you, you do 10 years and you come home.
Speaker B:When you come home, I'm up and I'm riding around like everything is sweet.
Speaker B:But when I come to you and say, yo, listen, man, I apologize for what I've done, I know that shit was fucked up.
Speaker B:I wasn't in the right at all.
Speaker B:And that shit tearing me up emotionally, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:God forgave me.
Speaker B:But it's some things I want to get off my chest, and I wanted to apologize to you, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:What I done, I know this ain't.
Speaker B:Can't bring back them 10 years.
Speaker B:And here's an envelope full of money.
Speaker B:Could you just take that?
Speaker B:You Know I ain't asking you to be my friend, but can you just take that?
Speaker B:What are we square?
Speaker B:I'm asking you, are we square?
Speaker E:Yeah, we Square.
Speaker C:Not 10 years.
Speaker C:No, we ain't square.
Speaker B:See what I mean?
Speaker B:We ain't square on me.
Speaker B:It depends.
Speaker B:On what?
Speaker B:Depends on your situation and where you in.
Speaker B:Cause guess what?
Speaker B:That 10 years, some people looking at, I lost my mom, I lost graduations.
Speaker B:This is priceless.
Speaker B:But you not up right now.
Speaker E:But it depends on what I was doing to get to 10 years.
Speaker E:Cause if my hands as dirty just.
Speaker B:As you are, you ain't get caught.
Speaker B:That's all that matters.
Speaker B:You understand?
Speaker E:Right, right.
Speaker B:Them people taking a lot, a lot of, you know, you taking shit for granted.
Speaker B:They ain't do it with the mob, right?
Speaker B:That's why the mob was like, yo, we going at your family.
Speaker B:You see the Godfather, they at homeboy uncle in the stairs while he's doing it.
Speaker B:He said, oh, I don't remember nothing right?
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:So it's a wishy washy time right now with all of this.
Speaker B:People with the bag, they honoring the people with the bag, but the people with the bag is not honoring the people that their lives they ruin.
Speaker B:It's not that sweet.
Speaker B:You think you just come home after you've ruined people's lives?
Speaker E:Apparently they're doing it right now, and they doing it.
Speaker B:That's why I don't.
Speaker B:That's why I speak for the ones that's like, still in this, that paid the price for this.
Speaker E:Right?
Speaker E:Or they're still locked up right now.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Like, that's what gives me the motivation that it's not right.
Speaker B:But who am I for a person to come to you and say, yo, I apologize, God forgave me.
Speaker B:So I'm just asking you, so who am I to tell somebody, like, are you gonna go with it or not?
Speaker E:So did.
Speaker E:So did Jay snitch on you?
Speaker B:Did Jay tell on me?
Speaker E:Yes.
Speaker B:I can't say he told on me.
Speaker B:But I'm telling you, when I come home and your partner now is a ex informant, what am I.
Speaker B:How am I supposed to look at that?
Speaker A:We talking about the CEO?
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:How am I supposed to look at that, bro?
Speaker B:My.
Speaker B:How was supposed to have you left me in prison, I come home and this is your people's now, right?
Speaker A:If by chance the world found out that Jay Z was an informant, what would that do to the game?
Speaker B:Nothing.
Speaker A:Oh, you think he would just.
Speaker A:It wouldn't do nothing.
Speaker B:It won't do nothing.
Speaker B:The game has changed.
Speaker B:It wouldn't do nothing.
Speaker B:Because at this point now, people are like this, bro.
Speaker B:Honestly.
Speaker B:And it's.
Speaker B:I deal with it every day because there's people like, now you change your life around, and you.
Speaker B:You're not in the street no more.
Speaker B:And I come to you and say, yo, we ain't in the street no more.
Speaker B:We doing something now.
Speaker B:We flipping houses.
Speaker B:We buying property.
Speaker B:You either in or you out.
Speaker B:And you got to think about, like, man, that.
Speaker B:That was.
Speaker B:That we was doing in the street.
Speaker B:This now you have to put, you know, start is.
Speaker B:Your morals and your principles and all of that stuff have to be prioritized because that's what we dealing with now.
Speaker B:I'm really looking at people.
Speaker B:I work with people now, and I'm like, damn, you know, Stu told on people, but guess what?
Speaker B:He here to help the kids.
Speaker B:Just the same.
Speaker B:We on the same page now.
Speaker B:What am I gonna say?
Speaker C:Cause it's the streets is the streets.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:What am I gonna say?
Speaker C:So, you know, as we look at Jay Z's life, you know, he's a billionaire married to Beyonce, do you feel like he's truly reaped the karma of all his actions?
Speaker B:Where were the karma is.
Speaker B:That's what I'm saying.
Speaker B:We don't see him.
Speaker B:Nah.
Speaker B:Well.
Speaker C:Or do you feel like he ever will?
Speaker B:I feel like if you've done people wrong, you know, you've done people wrong at some point, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:At some point, you know it's coming.
Speaker B:You know what I mean?
Speaker B:It's not just karma.
Speaker B:That's just the forces of nature on how things work.
Speaker B:You ruin people's lives.
Speaker B:You do harmful things.
Speaker B:And who's to say that he might ever pay that price?
Speaker B:Who's to say he even done anything wrong to anybody else?
Speaker B:In his eyes, to me, that's not even the same person.
Speaker B:That's someone else.
Speaker B:It's not the Sean, the J.
Speaker B:I grew up with.
Speaker B:And I don't know them people.
Speaker B:As far as I'm concerned, it's like, end of the day is they don't give a fuck about me.
Speaker B:They don't give a fuck about my family.
Speaker B:So why should I care about them?
Speaker B:People be like, yo, you know, you got a lot of compassion and forgive them.
Speaker B:Cause if I sit there and just keep be looking at the oddities, suddenly all that shit hold hate and animosity.
Speaker B:Like, you know what?
Speaker B:I need Jay to be successful.
Speaker B:That's what I want people to know.
Speaker B:I don't want.
Speaker B:I'll be praying off his downfall if I sit here and wanna.
Speaker B:Oh, yeah, he is doing something with Puffy.
Speaker B:That's corny.
Speaker B:I need him to keep continuing on, being on and on.
Speaker B:Cause guess who he not gonna get rid of.
Speaker B:You're never going to be able to get rid of the beginning.
Speaker B:And I don't see how they don't think about it, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:So I don't know, bro.
Speaker B:Those celebrities, man, I just learned to see that they only care about themselves, you know what I mean?
Speaker B:They do nothing.
Speaker B:They ain't doing nothing for our city, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:They ain't doing nothing for us.
Speaker B:They don't know what's going on in our city, you know what I mean?
Speaker B:So I kind of, like I said, I just use this shit as a platform to get what I need to get done.
Speaker B:A better opportunity, what I need to do.
Speaker B:I see the impact on telling my story, just telling my story on how many doors this shit opened up, how many lives, how many dudes on call hit me up in my DM and say, yo, you know what?
Speaker B:Listening to your story had me thinking from a different perspective.
Speaker B:I even told him say, yo, it's a possibility.
Speaker B:Jay saved my life.
Speaker B:Because if he would at the time of who I was, then if he'd have looked out for me, I wasn't going to act right.
Speaker B:I wasn't going to act right at all.
Speaker B:And I was going to bring in a bunch of people that weren't going to act right neither, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:That's why it all works out to almost saying, like, yo, you know what?
Speaker B:This shit was meant for me not to deal with none of that because it wasn't going to work out.
Speaker B:He gave me a bunch of money.
Speaker B:I probably still would have tried to take over this.
Speaker B:I'd really try to take over.
Speaker B:I'd have been trying to get to Columbia or some shit.
Speaker B:I'd have had twins with Kelly Rowland and all that shit by now, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:I would have went in there and tried to kill all them industry chicks, models, like, you crazy.
Speaker B:I brought my own crew in.
Speaker B:Like, let's get them.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:But that shit wasn't went for me, Kelly.
Speaker B:I feel, yo, man.
Speaker B:Cause the team of people that I mess with, man, it just wouldn't have never mixed, you understand?
Speaker B:I'ma be.
Speaker B:I be around guys that if, Billy, if you don't, you do something fucked up, they gonna check you on it.
Speaker B:You get what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Yeah, man.
Speaker B:I was fucked up.
Speaker B:Yo, this and that and the third, and that's just what it is.
Speaker B:You're gonna live with it.
Speaker B:And guess what?
Speaker B:We're gonna be boys tomorrow.
Speaker B:They around a bunch of people that just say, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's funny.
Speaker B:This, that, and the third, which, you can't clown them.
Speaker B:It's almost like just like with Jaguar.
Speaker B:So you mean to tell me nobody could talk about them, but Jay could get on the record and tell, say, oh, any kind of thing he wanted to say about anybody.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:But soon, somebody say something about them.
Speaker B:You want to cease and desist shit.
Speaker B:This, that, and the third, this and that.
Speaker B:Alleged.
Speaker B:So what?
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Like, nobody likes a fucking bully at all.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:They no bigger than us, far as I'm concerned.
Speaker B:They really look at us like we ain't even breathing the same air.
Speaker B:We forgotten Marcy.
Speaker B:We take care of our own now.
Speaker B:Nobody talk about him.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Tourists come to Marcy all day long just to look at our building.
Speaker B:Is that where he used to live?
Speaker B:This should be amazing.
Speaker B:But the thing is, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Like, for me to get to where I had to go through, man, it was a lot dealing with those guys.
Speaker B:Him, Emery, Tata, all of them.
Speaker B:You know what I mean?
Speaker B:None of those guys would be in a position if it wasn't for me.
Speaker B:None of those guys, when Jay Z said that, came to me and said, yo, man, I don't know why he said that.
Speaker B:You think Emery, my own co defendant, you think Emery, my co defendant, you think he was going to go to jail and say, yo, Jay, man, why would you say that?
Speaker B:He was my co defendant.
Speaker B:Why would you say something like that?
Speaker B:You put me in the mix, but there that goes.
Speaker B:And we ain't say nothing like that.
Speaker B:So that means you okay with it.
Speaker B:My own co defendant, my own nigga that.
Speaker B:But I introduced him to Jay, and he can get right on the screen and tell you a story, and I'm not even in it.
Speaker B:Yes, it was.
Speaker B:I'm not even in it.
Speaker B:If you listen to Bleak, you could Google a million stories with Bleak.
Speaker B:I watched Bleak from the third floor in my building.
Speaker B:Watched Bleak from Pampas.
Speaker B:I was there when Jay was like, yo, all right, come on, I'm gonna put you on.
Speaker B:I mean, all of that.
Speaker B:Jake Bleak would tell you a million stories about Jay, but I'm not there.
Speaker B:Jay had this, Jay had that, but he'd never say I was there.
Speaker B:And I'm talking about Bleak.
Speaker B:Mother is my sister's best friend.
Speaker B:You get what I'm saying?
Speaker B:But he had never mentioned my name.
Speaker B:Cause these guys would be.
Speaker B:It's like they walk on eggshells when they have to speak about things instead of speaking.
Speaker B:You see, I think I sent you that thing with Jazz.
Speaker B:Jazz went in when they was going at it of O and J.
Speaker B:But you look at the Jazz now, it's like he's on eggshells now.
Speaker B:Like something happened.
Speaker B:Like this nigga can stop your career or whatever you doing.
Speaker B:This is what I try to tell dude.
Speaker B:Whatever God got for you, I don't give a damn.
Speaker B:Billionaire, whoever this, that and the third can't stop it.
Speaker B:I'm living proof, you know how hard it is to get for major people to mess with me because of him.
Speaker B:They won't know what I'm saying.
Speaker B:I enjoy it because look where I'm at now, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:I enjoy it because I know what the underdog get.
Speaker B:I know what the independent man, how hard it is for the independent man to get.
Speaker B:I was there with Jay when he was trying to go in, when he was independent, trying.
Speaker B:I seen 50 independent.
Speaker B:I seen Puffy independent.
Speaker B:All the persons, all the people that got hated on in the game, look where they ended up.
Speaker B:So I could see my future.
Speaker B:I could see what's going on here.
Speaker B:This independency is gonna be big.
Speaker B:I'm gonna have my own shit.
Speaker B:But this ain't to just target him.
Speaker B:I wanna just a book about my life, a movie about my life.
Speaker B:Why not?
Speaker B:Y'all doing bmf.
Speaker B:You're doing this, you're doing that.
Speaker B:Y'all doing all of these other movies.
Speaker B:You don't wanna see this.
Speaker E:I wanna see it.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:I just be wanting people to know how hard it was and the adversity I faced to get to where I'm at now, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Cause like I said that that first joint took me deep.
Speaker B:The hatred when it first all started, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Cause I was in a dark place already, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:And here he come with more and more and more shit.
Speaker B:More and more shit.
Speaker B:And I'm wondering why, why, why he saying this and why he doing this?
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying, because at some point I gotta come out and say something.
Speaker B:He ain't say that until I did the YouTube.
Speaker B:But I was on the street for quite a while before I did the YouTube.
Speaker A:Explain the YouTube.
Speaker B:Explain the YouTube.
Speaker B:Yeah, the YouTube was.
Speaker B:I was fucked up.
Speaker B:I was broke, couldn't get a job.
Speaker B:I'm talking about bones and knuckles.
Speaker B:And all of those ingredients in one pot came out to be the YouTube.
Speaker B:Like, yo, I can't hold on to this no more.
Speaker B:My man behind you said, yo, man, listen, the fucking world needs to know.
Speaker B:That's where the YouTube came.
Speaker B:My man right here, man.
Speaker B:He been with me ever since.
Speaker B:Said, yo, the world need to know, man.
Speaker B:And I still wasn't comfortable with it.
Speaker B:I said that shit with so much anger, like, that shit, that shit backfired.
Speaker B:People was like, with this hating ass dude, this and that.
Speaker B:And it taught me a viable lesson about when you speaking about the truth, how to talk, how to tell it, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Because people will mislead your actions and your passion about something.
Speaker B:And it turned into hate.
Speaker E:The Internet is a horrible place.
Speaker B:He's definitely.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:And I tell him, you know, when the YouTube was, I was.
Speaker B:That I was.
Speaker B:That I was enraged.
Speaker B:I was hate.
Speaker B:I was in hate.
Speaker B:That hate took me.
Speaker B:Took me for years to get off me because I was like, yo, I was blaming them for everything.
Speaker B:Like, damn, I can't get a fucking job, J.
Speaker B:And them.
Speaker B:I can't get this.
Speaker B:I can't blaming them for everything.
Speaker B:And then when you go to sleep, you wake up, it's on the radio.
Speaker B:You go on the fucking tv, it's on the tv, you're like, this shit is really mental.
Speaker B:It's trauma.
Speaker B:You get what I'm saying?
Speaker B:I'm dealing with trauma.
Speaker B:Where the fucking trauma put me all the way to homeless, right?
Speaker B:Dead ass in the street to where?
Speaker B:Like, damn, man, I'm not asking nobody for nothing because of my ego.
Speaker B:But nobody know I'm homeless.
Speaker B:Only person now I need to talk to and go to again, which I went to the first time to get me out of prison was God, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:When Jay looked me in my eyes and said, yo, don't worry about it, I got you type of shit.
Speaker B:And I'm sitting in that cell just waiting.
Speaker B:Yo, you talk to him yet?
Speaker B:Yo, mother, you talk to him yet?
Speaker B:Just waiting.
Speaker B:Talk to him yet?
Speaker B:Just waiting till I realize, yo, this nigga ain't coming, bro.
Speaker B:He ain't coming.
Speaker B:Why are you even praying on that.
Speaker B:Tell you what.
Speaker B:Get on your knees and pray for real.
Speaker B:Pray to real God, the God, God, your God.
Speaker B:And I got up out of that shit.
Speaker B:So when I found myself homeless, I had to do it again.
Speaker B:Like, yo, God, this shit wearing me out.
Speaker B:I need to get these niggas off my head.
Speaker B:Help me out here.
Speaker B:And once again, here come God.
Speaker B:He gonna answer.
Speaker B:Oh, you need help?
Speaker B:Here, take that.
Speaker B:So.
Speaker B:Nigga threw a baby at me.
Speaker B:I got four kids already.
Speaker B:And here, God, here, push a baby on me, baby.
Speaker B:God, I said, help me.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:But it helped me.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:I couldn't do nothing but focus on this baby in this world coming in this world.
Speaker B:I couldn't focus on nothing but this little kid coming.
Speaker B:It helped.
Speaker B:And once I started focusing on this kid, my job came.
Speaker B:When my job came, my opportunities started rising, and then I started forgiving and more opportunities, and I started forgiving them more and more.
Speaker B:Unless, you know, it's like, damn, that's God.
Speaker B:That's all I had to do was forgive these dudes.
Speaker B:I tell you what, God, I tell you what, I do that.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Bless me with this, Marcy Maeve.
Speaker B:Document me.
Speaker B:Bless me with this.
Speaker B:And as you know, like, everything just been on up.
Speaker D:Well, we want to say congratulations on.
Speaker E:Your success, first and foremost.
Speaker B:Thank you.
Speaker D:It's rising, rising and rising.
Speaker D:You mentioned earlier that you felt like Jay was kind of meticulous.
Speaker D:He was, you know, he kind of thought things through and his choices in the way that he moved.
Speaker D:What are your thoughts on his marriage?
Speaker D:Do you feel like that was love, maybe, or do you feel like that was maybe a meticulous move for his success in moving up in his world?
Speaker D:What are your thoughts?
Speaker B:I don't know too much about the entertainment sides.
Speaker B:I just think that that was the best match for the entertainment any man.
Speaker B:Well, no, no, no.
Speaker B:It's quite a few more before her.
Speaker B:It's quite a few more.
Speaker B:Yeah, it's a lot more before her.
Speaker B:You just skipped over Maya.
Speaker B:Maya got away.
Speaker D:And I say that because, you know, the Internet.
Speaker D:You know, the Internet gonna do the math, right?
Speaker D:And the math don't be mathing when it comes to that.
Speaker D:That age.
Speaker B:So I think that was a, you know, he needed that billion dollars, huh?
Speaker C:I'm just saying, when she talked about age, age is a billion dollars.
Speaker B:So I guess it was a good look for both of them.
Speaker C:How did you feel when you heard ether Etha?
Speaker C:Yeah, he heard the ether Drop that.
Speaker B:You win some, you lose some.
Speaker B:Jay lost.
Speaker B:You know he lost one.
Speaker E:Did you ever think about cutting a record?
Speaker E:Cause it seemed like that's all you had to really do was getting that yo and go at him.
Speaker B:It crossed my mind about rapping and shit like that.
Speaker B:A whole bunch of street niggas.
Speaker E:Yeah, you would have had, like, I would have set it all off, like, nah, this is the real nigga.
Speaker B:I thought about rapping, man, but that just wasn't, you know, I saw too many fake stuff, you know, with that game.
Speaker B:But, yeah, man, that whole situation, man, them dudes, you know, they.
Speaker B:And I don't sell my story for people to dislike them.
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker B:You get what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Yo, you make money with them, that's fine.
Speaker B:You get what I'm saying?
Speaker B:You do business with them, that's fine.
Speaker B:I'm not telling you not to do business with them.
Speaker B:Not telling you not to make no money with them.
Speaker B:I'm telling you.
Speaker B:This is just my issue with some of them.
Speaker B:With them.
Speaker B:I don't want you guys to get it mixed up.
Speaker B:And I tell people like, yo, mind your business.
Speaker B:This is business.
Speaker B:But it's also personal.
Speaker B:You got guys that don't know nothing about the story, that just intervene.
Speaker B:Just because you make money with him doesn't mean you have to take his side.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:That's corny.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:And as I said, I don't tell you that just to not.
Speaker B:I'm sure they not even the same people that they was then, either.
Speaker B:I'm sure they changed again, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:They ain't change enough to become.
Speaker B:To come to me and say, yo.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Yo, man, I don't know how to fix this, because that's where it's at at this point.
Speaker B:Well, how could you fix it?
Speaker B:Oh, yeah, I was just.
Speaker E:That's what I was wanting to know.
Speaker E:Like, I'm sure there's a solution to all this.
Speaker B:It is a conversation.
Speaker B:And that's what they think.
Speaker B:They too good into a billion.
Speaker B:A billionaire.
Speaker B:Cause, like, he don't too much of that.
Speaker B:Their ego.
Speaker B:That's the ego over the money now, right?
Speaker E:But you're letting him know, like, you want to have this conversation.
Speaker B:I'm open for it, right?
Speaker E:I'm open for it.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:I'm open for it.
Speaker B:You know, Do I see that happening?
Speaker A:Nah.
Speaker B:I think he could make an album and respond to a lot of this and that do well, because people were looking for that answer.
Speaker E:Well, I would love to see y'all.
Speaker B:Sit down and talk.
Speaker A:Oh, yeah.
Speaker A:Like, the one on one.
Speaker B:The one on one.
Speaker B:The one on one.
Speaker B:That's a viral.
Speaker B:But this, he's.
Speaker E:This could happen in this day.
Speaker C:Do you think you could do it without being.
Speaker C:Getting angry?
Speaker B:Yeah, I'm not angry no more.
Speaker B:It's nothing to be angry.
Speaker C:I mean, I'm saying because we be thinking we not angry no more, but then you see the person and it's like, it really like.
Speaker C:Like, I lost a lot because of you.
Speaker C:Like, you and you right here, and you in arm's length, and I lost a lot.
Speaker C:And you a big dude.
Speaker A:Let's say Jay Z, Jay Z come to the interview and just start counting money while you talking.
Speaker B:This is.
Speaker B:No, it's.
Speaker B:Cause I'd be a sellout then right now.
Speaker B:I'm a sellout, right?
Speaker A:Why would you be a sellout?
Speaker B:Huh?
Speaker A:Why would you be a sellout?
Speaker A:For talking to.
Speaker B:But that's what that the Internet gonna do for sure.
Speaker B:Especially if it's some money.
Speaker B:It's gonna be some money involved.
Speaker A:No, I'm saying he's counting the money on some, like, I'm mocking you shit.
Speaker A:Like, nigga, I'm getting to the paper.
Speaker B:Like, he did that anyway.
Speaker B:He do that in the music.
Speaker C:I just, you know.
Speaker C:Cause.
Speaker C:And I get, like, forgiveness and things of that nature.
Speaker C:But like, when you've seen a person that you gave so much for, then lost so much behind, and they act like you don't exist, that has to be like, a different type of feeling.
Speaker C:Like, I like, bro, I feel like it's niggas that forget a brother for doing something.
Speaker C:But I can't never see that nigga again.
Speaker C:We can't never run into each other.
Speaker C:I forgive him, but we can't.
Speaker B:You haven't truly.
Speaker B:Wait, so you ain't forgive him?
Speaker B:That's what you said.
Speaker A:Y'all are from the same hood, though, right?
Speaker A:Y'all are from the same hood?
Speaker B:No, we from the same building, same floor.
Speaker A:So what I'm saying is y'all don't have mutual friends that be trying to squash this shit.
Speaker A:There ain't nobody mutual that be trying to step in the middle.
Speaker B:He got that big yo that mutual friends are more fans than they not friends no more.
Speaker A:Oh, so he don't even fuck with nobody?
Speaker B:No, I'm just saying the mutual friends got you are the fans.
Speaker B:You think that fan when he get a ticket to the show he gonna be like, yo, man, DeHavis, you and DeHavis.
Speaker B:He's not.
Speaker E:Delete this.
Speaker A:So, so, so, so, you know.
Speaker A:You know what's so crazy?
Speaker A:You kind of experience what a lot of the.
Speaker A:Like, what a lot of the world is now.
Speaker A:It's a lot of I'm a fuck with the N that's hot.
Speaker A:So you could have been the realest, stiffest, coolest nigga in the world, but they just chasing who's hot.
Speaker A:And so you kind of.
Speaker A:How did that feel?
Speaker A:Because it sounded like you was the nigga really on top.
Speaker A:And he kind of.
Speaker B:I always was that nigga.
Speaker A:And then he kind of made his rise.
Speaker A:And you saw niggas choose sides and then switch up and go over there.
Speaker B:I always was that nigger.
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Even on a comeback, I've always been that N.
Speaker B:Far as they feel about me, they know where I stood.
Speaker B:They know.
Speaker B:They know there's no them without me.
Speaker B:They know it like there's no way around it.
Speaker B:Emery would never been sitting there without me.
Speaker B:Tata would never have been sitting there without me.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Jazzo this, that.
Speaker B:They would have never been sitting without me.
Speaker B:We must understand and keep in.
Speaker B:Keep in mind, now, aside from me and J relationship, we also got Dame.
Speaker C:Yes.
Speaker B:In a conversation with me and Dame.
Speaker B:When Dame asked me, yo, you know what I mean?
Speaker B:I need help with this record company, get this off the ground.
Speaker B:That's no problem, Dame.
Speaker B:You fucking with my man J.
Speaker B:If it's all good, it's all good.
Speaker B:And I help him.
Speaker B:And he forget.
Speaker B:That's why I sit here looking at Dave doing.
Speaker B:Talking all this shit.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:Cause Dame, man hasn't even brought you up.
Speaker B:So what about Big?
Speaker B:They not gonna.
Speaker B:Huh?
Speaker B:I don't know Big.
Speaker B:So I don't even know Big.
Speaker B:But to sit there and Dame just forget about it and then have all of these issues talking about how people doing him.
Speaker B:It's the same shit, right?
Speaker B:And I look at all of them that was on that ride to success while Jay was shitting on me.
Speaker B:New relationship me and Jay had.
Speaker B:You just said you and him.
Speaker B:You just said, I watched these two schools grow up together, this and that.
Speaker B:And the third, the moment you show me that you not loyal to him, I'm looking at it like, hey, wait a minute.
Speaker B:If he do that to him, and he been around him since how long?
Speaker B:How much time do I got?
Speaker B:How much do he value me?
Speaker E:Right?
Speaker B:That's why I'm laughing at all of them.
Speaker B:None of them question that damn son that did that to Haven.
Speaker B:How much time do I got left?
Speaker B:You get what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Jazzo ain't look out for his own future.
Speaker B:Source ain't look out for his own future.
Speaker B:When all that was going on, you have to identify that.
Speaker B:Be like, yo, son, I got rid of Headache.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:They call me Headache too.
Speaker B:So they be like, yo, he got rid of Headache and shit.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:So what you think he gonna do with us?
Speaker E:How'd you get the name Headache?
Speaker B:This right here, speaking of facts.
Speaker B:Always talking the truth.
Speaker B:And I'm telling the.
Speaker B:Nah, you wrong.
Speaker B:He like, man, go ahead with that shit.
Speaker B:You always start this.
Speaker B:You give me a headache with this.
Speaker B:And I ended up, man, you a headache.
Speaker B:Cause I'm always speaking my mind.
Speaker B:I'm always speaking the truth.
Speaker B:I'm gonna speak what's fear.
Speaker B:And if it give you a headache, then that, so be it.
Speaker B:I'm always on somebody ass about something, bro.
Speaker E:I'm gonna tell you right now, bro, if you was just to cut a.
Speaker B:Record like I'm telling you, bro, my monster made series.
Speaker B:When you see this hold up.
Speaker B:When you see the trailer to what I'm going giggle giggle the record right there, that shit gonna break numbers.
Speaker E:I promise you, Jay Z will talk to you in the record.
Speaker B:Why?
Speaker B:Listen to me, just thinking it on this level, right?
Speaker B:If it wasn't.
Speaker B:If it was about the money, right?
Speaker B:If it was about any money.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:How much money you think they give us for if me and Jay was together to do a film?
Speaker B:That.
Speaker B:Them numbers are crazy.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:You see what I'm saying?
Speaker B:You can't put this shit to the side and say, yo, this is what we gonna do, right?
Speaker E:So it's something way deeper.
Speaker E:So that's why I talk about.
Speaker E:Because I want you to say what.
Speaker E:What happened.
Speaker E:Because there's more issues there.
Speaker E:It's gotta be because we talked about.
Speaker A:The first thing about.
Speaker B:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker B:So that's.
Speaker B:That's.
Speaker B:That's.
Speaker B:Bro, this is what I'm sitting here and telling you.
Speaker B:This is what will drive you insane.
Speaker B:Trying to figure out what right?
Speaker B:Is it just this, right?
Speaker B:Cause this all I know.
Speaker B:Because if it ain't that, is that.
Speaker B:Is it.
Speaker B:Is it the snitch?
Speaker B:Is it your informant friend?
Speaker B:Did they come to you?
Speaker B:Did they get you?
Speaker B:When did they get you, right?
Speaker B:Is that what you hiding?
Speaker B:Is that what it is?
Speaker B:Because this.
Speaker B:Cause this don't make no sense.
Speaker E:So that Would be the question.
Speaker E:What is it?
Speaker B:What is it?
Speaker B:Why?
Speaker E:Why did you do this to me?
Speaker B:That would be the only question.
Speaker A:Why do you think?
Speaker A:Why do you think?
Speaker A:Because the switch up sounds crazy.
Speaker B:I just said that.
Speaker B:He didn't have no.
Speaker B:He didn't know how to handle it.
Speaker A:So you get out of jail, he start rocking with the other side.
Speaker B:It was already rocking.
Speaker B:I had to put two and two together later.
Speaker A:Did he try to backdone you?
Speaker B:It's almost like.
Speaker B:It's almost like this.
Speaker B:Like I said, you see that?
Speaker B:You ain't no cop.
Speaker B:J.
Speaker B:Rude Post.
Speaker B:It's almost like, when did they come to you and say, yo, look, we gonna let you out.
Speaker B:Somebody gonna have to take the fall, though.
Speaker B:You understand?
Speaker B:We got Emery and such and such, and we gonna throw DeHaven in because I wasn't around for that investigation.
Speaker B:We gonna throw the Haven in.
Speaker B:So when they threw me in.
Speaker B:And as the case revels, Emory take his plea deal.
Speaker B:My other co.
Speaker B:Defendant take his plea deal.
Speaker B:And I fight.
Speaker B:I'm fighting.
Speaker B:I got my lawyer in my ear, talking about, yo, if I could get you 20 years, if I can get you 20, would you take 20?
Speaker B:Cause I ain't got no offer on the table.
Speaker B:They want the L from me.
Speaker B:And I'm telling my lawyer, nigga, we ain't looking at no paperwork yet.
Speaker B:The fuck what we doing here?
Speaker B:You understand?
Speaker B:We ain't looking no paperwork yet.
Speaker B:And I ain't going to take 20.
Speaker B:20 is life to me.
Speaker B:We going to fight.
Speaker B:Then when I do look at the paperwork, I'm not in none of the paperwork.
Speaker B:You got this.
Speaker B:You got a wire top for 29 seconds with a snitch calling me, asking me for shit.
Speaker B:And then I'm telling him, now, I don't even know what you talking about.
Speaker B:That's my evidence.
Speaker B:I'm gonna use that because he reaching out to me.
Speaker B:I ain't doing nothing.
Speaker B:So whenever he go do his time and I get out, I fight.
Speaker B:I win my case.
Speaker B:I win my case and come home, you don't want to talk to me?
Speaker A:You think somebody put a battery in his back?
Speaker A:Maybe they put.
Speaker B:You don't want to talk to me?
Speaker B:This is what I'm trying to tell you.
Speaker B:Like, what is the reason why you don't want to talk to me?
Speaker E:Someone got some Js.
Speaker C:That's what I'm saying.
Speaker A:Somebody got the J.
Speaker A:I'm saying, yeah.
Speaker B:This is what I'm talking about.
Speaker B:Them boys, yo.
Speaker B:That's what.
Speaker B:Why you don't want to talk to me about nothing.
Speaker B:Cause if it's about that, you gonna talk to me.
Speaker B:Yo, your man.
Speaker B:This is what happened.
Speaker B:You would talk to me.
Speaker B:So is it that you scared to tell me, say, yo, man, they got me.
Speaker B:It was nothing I could do.
Speaker B:So why you say you was gonna help me?
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Then I come.
Speaker B:It just don't add up at some point.
Speaker B:And then how's everybody going to jail but you?
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker A:And how you lose 92 bricks?
Speaker B:I can't wait till you read this story in the book.
Speaker E:The book is coming soon.
Speaker B:Because honestly, the motherfucker that got caught with all of that, they ain't do shit for him, right?
Speaker B:They ain't do for him.
Speaker B:He home nine to five.
Speaker A:That's crazy.
Speaker B:You understand?
Speaker B:So that's crazy.
Speaker B:So what I'm telling you is, like I said, bro, you know, them dudes did a lot of shitty shit to people, bro.
Speaker C:Did he really put Prem in the truck and tell him, leave them streets alone, man?
Speaker B:I don't even know.
Speaker B:I don't know if he even knew Prem.
Speaker C:What you say?
Speaker B:I don't know if he knew Premier.
Speaker B:That's like I'm out the picture about him.
Speaker B:But if he had any association with Prima, I wouldn't know, right?
Speaker B:But he said he had, you know, Jose, Spanish Jose and all that, too.
Speaker B:But he ain't know Jose.
Speaker B:Ain't know him like that.
Speaker B:That was my folks.
Speaker B:So all of that is just music.
Speaker B:That's just rap, Right?
Speaker E:Well, let's talk about his.
Speaker C:How much of his.
Speaker C:So because a lot of his raps are predicated.
Speaker C:Predicated off him being this big drug figure.
Speaker C:How much of that is really a facade or just.
Speaker C:Or did he just flip?
Speaker B:Nah, it's real.
Speaker C:Okay.
Speaker B:You just asked me earlier.
Speaker E:Yeah.
Speaker B:What make you a boss.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker B:Is the connect in that case is the connect.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Don't matter who you are.
Speaker B:You got them things and they cheap.
Speaker B:You the man.
Speaker B:That's just plain and simple.
Speaker B:Now, what comes with that is.
Speaker C:The.
Speaker B:Shit that comes with that is the wolves, for sure.
Speaker B:You get what I'm saying?
Speaker B:But you not built for that.
Speaker B:That's what I'm trying to tell you.
Speaker B:It's a lot more.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:You're not built for that, but, you know.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:You know, because he got with a.
Speaker B:He got with a group of people that was a major connect for him.
Speaker B:So I could see him going that far.
Speaker B:But them people, the police, Right.
Speaker E:Was he and Paid in full.
Speaker E:Was he.
Speaker E:Hold on.
Speaker E:Was he Ace?
Speaker B:Who was.
Speaker E:Who was Jake?
Speaker E:Yeah, was he Ace?
Speaker E:That's who his.
Speaker C:Was he Rico?
Speaker E:Who was you, Mitch?
Speaker E:Or was you Rico?
Speaker B:Oh, no, I definitely was a.
Speaker B:I definitely was a.
Speaker E:Okay.
Speaker B:That life story, I would have thought that that would have been my life story almost, because the way it starts off with how he in the cleanest.
Speaker B:I done all that.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker B:But, yeah, his role, if it wasn't paid in full, who did?
Speaker B:The cops come.
Speaker B:They came to a.
Speaker B:Didn't they?
Speaker B:And he told him, I don't know how that worked, Paul.
Speaker B:I don't know.
Speaker B:He wouldn't have a role in that, man.
Speaker B:But I ain't gonna lie, man.
Speaker B:He definitely saw some numbers.
Speaker B:He also saw a period of the game of what it was like.
Speaker B:But, you know, I was just gonna.
Speaker A:Ask, what are some of the subliminal Jay Z lyrics that we don't.
Speaker A:That we might not even caught on?
Speaker A:That was about you, or you think that might have been about you?
Speaker B:Oh, man, that R.
Speaker B:Kelly, that ain't personal.
Speaker B:Was deep.
Speaker A:What'd he say?
Speaker B:He said, your mom said I changed.
Speaker B:I'm still here.
Speaker B:Like, road game.
Speaker B:Ask your boy what he did to the game.
Speaker B:Everybody that he know, that I know, that's locked up, doing a feudal.
Speaker A:You be like, damn, that's mean, though.
Speaker B:He's nasty, man.
Speaker B:He's got a nasty mouth.
Speaker B:He got me on my ass.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:And it's like you running with this lie.
Speaker B:You get what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Trying to get people.
Speaker B:Trying to get into people's heads that this is who I am.
Speaker B:Like, yo, you serious?
Speaker B:Yeah, that was one.
Speaker B:And then the other one with him and Nas, the black Republican, we was hovering over the oven, and he said that you was just the son of my mother's friend.
Speaker B:Like, he had no value in my friendship.
Speaker C:Damn.
Speaker B:So you was just the son of my mother's friend.
Speaker A:On some real Scorpio shit.
Speaker E:So what was Jay's strengths in the streets, though?
Speaker B:Like rap?
Speaker E:Okay, well, we know he's an amazing rapper, but that rap shit don't mean shit.
Speaker B:Like, that's a real straight.
Speaker E:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker E:We hustled out there.
Speaker E:I don't give a fuck.
Speaker E:You rapper now.
Speaker B:I was there, though.
Speaker B:That's my man.
Speaker B:That's my little brother.
Speaker B:His role is.
Speaker B:His role is that.
Speaker B:So it was.
Speaker C:What you said is you had a nigga that was funny.
Speaker C:He was the fun.
Speaker C:Like, he was the rap nigga.
Speaker C:Yeah, he Got something.
Speaker C:But he.
Speaker C:We wouldn't have got him when we.
Speaker B:Was ready to rap.
Speaker B:Nah, he stayed with me, bro.
Speaker B:We stayed.
Speaker E:So that's what I'm saying.
Speaker E:So.
Speaker E:No, no, I'm saying we looking at you like we tell you muscle, you know?
Speaker E:But I'm saying, like, he had to have some strengths to take.
Speaker E:So maybe he was a chameleon there and took some of what you had and put it on him to go to the next level.
Speaker B:He took that whole reasonable doubt is my life.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:That's what I was.
Speaker B:That whole reasonable doubt is my life is what he.
Speaker B:He saw is what he was involved in is what he seen is that's my whole life.
Speaker B:That's.
Speaker B:That's the best one.
Speaker C:So it's still rap.
Speaker C:That's what him tell.
Speaker C:Like, some just have a talent that has nothing to do with the streets but a.
Speaker C:With him and made sure he was good.
Speaker C:It was rap.
Speaker C:What his was his talent.
Speaker B:His best talent was this.
Speaker B:That's what I'm.
Speaker E:Yeah, his best talent is rap, but I'm talking about industry in the streets.
Speaker B:He's trying to figure out how he was.
Speaker C:He was.
Speaker C:He was with him.
Speaker C:That's what his best talent was.
Speaker A:In the street.
Speaker E:No, no, no, no, no, no.
Speaker E:So his talent was knowing to surrender, to be who to be around.
Speaker C:That's not.
Speaker E:That's a talent.
Speaker A:Talent, bro.
Speaker B:I don't know if it's a talent, but it's.
Speaker E:It's smart.
Speaker B:It's a smart move.
Speaker E:It's smart.
Speaker A:Ultimate test player.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Is it smart?
Speaker C:He said he was with.
Speaker B:He liked him on because the people.
Speaker E:Exactly.
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker D:Was the man with the plan.
Speaker C:He a like him.
Speaker C:A seen him and with him.
Speaker E:He was charismatic and got another plug.
Speaker C:Bro, you just talking.
Speaker A:That's what he said.
Speaker A:If that.
Speaker A:Manipulating his way into a new plug.
Speaker B:His strengths might have been just.
Speaker B:He's.
Speaker B:He's just cool, man.
Speaker B:That's.
Speaker C:He a cool ass.
Speaker C:That's.
Speaker C:That's like.
Speaker C:Bro, y'all trying to make it bigger than.
Speaker C:Like, he was a cool ass.
Speaker C:He was funny.
Speaker C:He could rap.
Speaker C:He knew how to dance.
Speaker C:He was carried.
Speaker D:That's a lot of talents.
Speaker B:No, but he did.
Speaker C:But you trying to make it.
Speaker C:Was he the.
Speaker C:The.
Speaker C:The nigga?
Speaker B:No, I'm not.
Speaker B:That's what I'm trying to say.
Speaker B:I already said that.
Speaker B:He.
Speaker A:He said he was the rapper.
Speaker E:No, so I'm saying what was his street.
Speaker C:He was the rapper.
Speaker B:It's not a street talent.
Speaker B:Talent.
Speaker B:It was, though.
Speaker B:You got to look at it.
Speaker B:Listen, okay.
Speaker B:Look at it like this.
Speaker B:At a time then, right?
Speaker B:When you had rap battlers, when you was going in other neighborhoods and going to do other shit, you was battled.
Speaker B:That was your talent.
Speaker B:Like, I was going to get him to do that.
Speaker B:That was his talent.
Speaker B:I mean, he.
Speaker B:So he got busy hustling, but that wasn't his stronghold.
Speaker C:Right.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:And he was just a good little brother for me.
Speaker B:Like a good brother that for me to have with.
Speaker C:Who do we interview when.
Speaker C:I'm sorry, who?
Speaker C:When we interviewed, he's like, the street dudes saw the.
Speaker C:With talent that could rap.
Speaker C:They put money behind him.
Speaker C:That was his time.
Speaker C:That was what his goal.
Speaker C:Like, you don't even need to be out here.
Speaker C:We need to put you in the studio because you are the way out.
Speaker E:What we can't say, but you're missing.
Speaker A:That they was family, right?
Speaker A:It's different.
Speaker A:It's like if you.
Speaker A:My little brother, it's beyond putting money.
Speaker C:Behind, but you don't have a talent if you're just my little brother.
Speaker D:So did he want to hustle?
Speaker D:Like, did he want to.
Speaker D:Yeah, yeah, he wanted to be in the game, but he.
Speaker D:But he was just good at rapping.
Speaker D:Like, that was.
Speaker B:Yeah, he was in a.
Speaker B:Yeah, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:He was in a game.
Speaker B:It was quite a few times that.
Speaker B:It's quite a few.
Speaker B:Often, if I'm not around, he holding shit down, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:He can hold shit down and do it his way.
Speaker B:And like, at the time when I got shot and was in the hospital, laid up like he did.
Speaker B:Well, you know, that's how I know he was more of a planner, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Because I came home and he had organized the whole crew.
Speaker A:He said he was a thinker.
Speaker E:Yes, he's a thinker.
Speaker B:He had organized the whole crew, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:And got the money all the way up.
Speaker B:Got back from that loss.
Speaker C:Did you.
Speaker C:When you were in the hospital, did he take care of you then?
Speaker C:Like, did he do his due diligence while you was down?
Speaker B:Yeah, everybody.
Speaker B:Yeah, definitely.
Speaker B:What's crazy is.
Speaker B:And I'll be like, what's crazy is that I ain't see his mom in my hospital visit.
Speaker B:You get what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Like, I ain't see his mom.
Speaker B:And most people ask me, what's your opinion?
Speaker B:What's your take on his mother?
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:His mother was.
Speaker B:I would say, okay, if I was hungry.
Speaker B:She feed me.
Speaker B:Would I say she was like a mother to me, like my mom was a mother to him?
Speaker B:No, I never went to his mother with any problems.
Speaker B:I need you to help me do this or I need you to do this.
Speaker B:You know, I just honored what she asked me to do, just to watch out for her son and make sure she all right.
Speaker B:That's what hurt more.
Speaker B:Because I'm like, your mom see this happening.
Speaker B:She not step in and say, yo, what the fuck?
Speaker B:You know what I mean?
Speaker B:This man did all of this.
Speaker B:This man family did all this.
Speaker B:How does this work?
Speaker E:Money can change a lot of things.
Speaker B:But, yeah, the money changed everyone.
Speaker B:Cause I ain't getting no nothing.
Speaker B:Never got no comments from his mom.
Speaker B:Never got no comments from.
Speaker B:And I'm telling you, like, our mothers was best friends, right?
Speaker B:Our sisters was best friends.
Speaker B:His sister, my sister was best friends.
Speaker E:But nobody's friends no more.
Speaker B:Nobody's friends no more because of this.
Speaker B:My daughter's goddaughter, his nephew is my godson.
Speaker B:Nobody.
Speaker B:This is what this done to the.
Speaker B:This is what this done to us, right?
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Everything is secrets and shit is like, now I can't talk to my godson because he think that I don't like his uncle.
Speaker B:And he don't talk to his goddaughter because how does that work?
Speaker B:How does that work?
Speaker B:When I put my child in this man's hands, yo, it's almost like you could sum this up is this.
Speaker B:He's the type of nigga to kill you and show up at your funeral to act like, that's tough.
Speaker A:It's tough, right?
Speaker C:Put your arms around your mom and say, we're gonna find out who did, yo.
Speaker B:Exactly.
Speaker B:Because he done everything to get me killed.
Speaker B:You get what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker E:And so there's.
Speaker E:There's no.
Speaker B:And you ask yourself again, what have you done to make him do this?
Speaker B:You can't.
Speaker B:You can't.
Speaker B:I can't explain it.
Speaker E:It's.
Speaker E:That's what I'm saying.
Speaker A:It's like, hold on.
Speaker A:But there is a comment right under one of the videos that said your people was the one that shot at him or some shit like that.
Speaker A:So, I mean, do you think in his mind, like, nigga, this is your peoples that try to harm me?
Speaker B:No, it's our peoples, but it's my people's, though, right?
Speaker B:You understand?
Speaker A:So that could.
Speaker A:That's a slippery.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:I seen a nigga that ran off with $30,000 a couple of months ago.
Speaker B:On me years ago.
Speaker B:He ran off with $30,000.
Speaker B:Did I ask for my $30,000 back?
Speaker B:Man, let's talk it to the game.
Speaker B:That's what happens in the game.
Speaker B:Yeah, this shit is over.
Speaker B:Why he not doing it?
Speaker B:Charge that shit to the game.
Speaker B:That was something that.
Speaker B:Like I said, we was dealing in the streets, and that's what the streets come with.
Speaker B:Yeah, but he ain't saying that.
Speaker A:That's crazy, man.
Speaker A:You have a project out, a movie that kind of goes through a lot of this shit, which is called.
Speaker A:It's on Amazon Prime.
Speaker A:Marcy.
Speaker B:Marcy made.
Speaker A:Marcy made.
Speaker A:I just watched it.
Speaker A:Get into that.
Speaker A:For people who haven't seen it that are intrigued about this project.
Speaker B:You ain't seen it, right?
Speaker B:That's Marcy May was.
Speaker B:I did that.
Speaker B:I got tired of people saying, yo, thinking that I'm telling them, yo, he owed me something.
Speaker B:He owed me something.
Speaker B:Think I'm saying, yo, he owed me.
Speaker B:He owed me.
Speaker B:He owed me.
Speaker B:I said, man, I can't say that.
Speaker B:Tell you what I do when I do.
Speaker B:Marcy made this documentary.
Speaker B:Let's see how this works.
Speaker B:Soon as Marcy made came out and people started watching it, the only thing they could say is, man, this nigga owe you, man.
Speaker B:This nigga owe you, man.
Speaker B:See?
Speaker B:So that was the big picture about Marcy made.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Like, yo, let's show them where I stand.
Speaker B:And.
Speaker B:And maybe they give him a better perspective.
Speaker B:Let my earth speak on this.
Speaker B:Let my mom.
Speaker B:Cause what you think my mom gonna get on here and lie?
Speaker B:She just said, how?
Speaker B:You know, on Marcy Mae, she said, how Emery would be sitting in my house and talking to my mom.
Speaker B:And yet you see a clip where Emory.
Speaker B:Like, yo, I don't know nobody.
Speaker B:Nobody but J.
Speaker B:So what?
Speaker B:My mom's lying.
Speaker B:You get what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Like, you.
Speaker B:Y'all doing everything to rewrite this without me.
Speaker B:It's almost like they waiting for something to happen to me to do a movie.
Speaker B:I bet if something happened to me, God forbid, they do a movie, I probably the dude that's carrying the work, doing dumb shit.
Speaker B:They have me as a clown in there.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:So they try to change the narrative of the story.
Speaker C:Like, is there an amount of money that can make you stop telling your story?
Speaker C:Like, you just get a.
Speaker C:You get a phone call one day, and it's like, hey, what makes you.
Speaker B:We just.
Speaker C:We just need you to be quiet.
Speaker C:How much money you need?
Speaker B:Well, I estimate I'M gonna do about 2, 3 million books, right?
Speaker B:So once I tumble that up and do that and do the numbers for.
Speaker B:I don't know for sure, I don't know.
Speaker B:But I still would just like to have that.
Speaker B:Why?
Speaker C:Right?
Speaker B:It's almost like the cat is out the bag.
Speaker B:If you could cut.
Speaker B:If you just came to me and say, man, you was right down to details.
Speaker B:They had me.
Speaker B:They said that I'm a blow up and I could eat off this.
Speaker B:And.
Speaker B:And keep in mind, the chick had a plan, too.
Speaker B:Like, yo, we could do things.
Speaker B:And I can guarantee you the conversation with Emery, even when Emery came home and seen.
Speaker B:He came home and seen the same thing.
Speaker B:Yo, you dealing with her.
Speaker E:Who's the chick?
Speaker B:Desiree.
Speaker A:Desiree.
Speaker E:Oh, okay.
Speaker B:Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker E:Okay.
Speaker B:He came home and had to see it, too.
Speaker B:Say, yo, what is this?
Speaker B:And I can tell you how that conversation probably went.
Speaker B:Like, look, man, you don't need to worry about this.
Speaker B:You don't need to worry about nothing else ever again.
Speaker B:You over here with us now.
Speaker B:But what if.
Speaker B:Yo, she a snitch, man?
Speaker B:Fuck that snitch shit, bro.
Speaker B:Them people that's talking about that snitch, we ain't gonna be breathing in the same ear.
Speaker B:That's what you worried about.
Speaker B:Them that don't have nothing sitting home.
Speaker B:Where you going to be if you don't get on this side of town, get on this side.
Speaker B:I can see that conversation happening.
Speaker B:And a nigga move his.
Speaker B:All his integrity and morals to the side to take care of his family after he just did 12 years.
Speaker B:I could see that, but I don't see.
Speaker B:And what I couldn't put past me is Emory coming to me just on some real nigga shit.
Speaker B:This is what you.
Speaker B:This is what hurt when I say, when you expect niggas that treat you the way you treat them and they don't work that way, that's the worst.
Speaker E:Thing you could ever do in the.
Speaker B:World, you know, because I could have expected a nigga to come to me and say, look, man, I don't know what Jay tripping off of.
Speaker B:He's still tripping off of that, this, that, and the third.
Speaker B:I'm not really with that.
Speaker B:But you can't tell him I'm fucking with you, so this is what I'm gonna do.
Speaker B:Boom, boom, boom.
Speaker B:We work from there.
Speaker B:Real nigga shit.
Speaker B:But to act like, yo, I'ma join forces and do the same thing and play this shit like this.
Speaker B:Come on, man.
Speaker B:That's humiliating.
Speaker B:And now I got you As a yes man, like, yo, bro, you couldn't even speak up for me, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:So all of that shit is twisted.
Speaker B:And that's how all those conversations, that's how they think of us.
Speaker B:They like, really.
Speaker B:Those guys talking about snitching this and that's.
Speaker B:They.
Speaker B:What you worried about them for?
Speaker B:They don't be in our parties, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:What you worried about that for anybody that they deal with, they not going to bring this up.
Speaker B:You think anybody going to be like, yo, E, man, what happened with you?
Speaker B:And they.
Speaker B:Nope.
Speaker B:Because they going to find they self out of business or somewhere else, you know, so, you know, I used to call it the blackball game.
Speaker B:They blackball this.
Speaker B:But like I said, man, I already seen what God got from me.
Speaker E:The only person that could probably have this conversation with him is probably Beyonce.
Speaker B:Yeah, why you think by now she didn't say that with Jay?
Speaker B:Who is this behaving?
Speaker B:I mean, you understand what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Probably now you understand she has to be like, who is this behavior?
Speaker B:Because this he throwing up is facts, right?
Speaker B:You do know his family.
Speaker B:I see it.
Speaker B:You do know this.
Speaker B:You do.
Speaker B:Hold this.
Speaker B:So how could all of this, you know, I don't know what women's place be now, right?
Speaker B:But this ain't.
Speaker B:She can't hide this.
Speaker B:I'm quite sure she went in the bathroom and looked at this shit and been like, man, what the fuck?
Speaker B:You know how girls talk.
Speaker B:Girls talk like that, right?
Speaker B:You think none of her?
Speaker B:You think Kelly ain't say girl?
Speaker B:Look, B, you see this guy right here?
Speaker B:And he kind of handsome and cute too, look, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Nah, man.
Speaker D:Yeah, I agree.
Speaker D:Like, as a good wife, you're going to want to know information.
Speaker D:Not only just to know it, but to protect at the end of the day.
Speaker D:Like when you marry, like your spouse is your first line of defense to advise and to whatever.
Speaker D:So yeah, if it's like nothing has been said yet, that would be weird.
Speaker B:Cause it's like be honest a n a shut you down and be like, stay out of nigga shit.
Speaker B:Stay off that street shit.
Speaker B:Just cause you his wife.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Stay out of what I'm saying they've.
Speaker D:Been married for a long time and this is big.
Speaker B:She said it like it's just gonna nag her to death.
Speaker D:No, like it'd be different if like they wasn't married or maybe they just fresh or maybe he was still in that life, right?
Speaker D:But nah, but this has had been.
Speaker B:Going on for years, so she been new knowing when she saw the YouTube, she probably was like, who this?
Speaker B:When I was looking, it really did look like I was just an angry, disjointed guy, whatever, listen.
Speaker B:And he brushed it off.
Speaker B:But as this shit keep growing and shit keep getting more facts and she steady like, wait a minute.
Speaker D:And if he's still on that, don't worry about it.
Speaker D:That would make me concerned.
Speaker B:Like, exactly what?
Speaker D:Like, you know, it must, it gotta be something.
Speaker D:If you telling me not to worry about it and you not just telling me like, hey man, this is what it is.
Speaker D:That's.
Speaker D:That leaves concern right now.
Speaker A:One of the questions I have for you, right?
Speaker A:Just on some street shit, right?
Speaker A:Do you feel like there's some rules that need to be updated or do you feel like it is what it is?
Speaker A:Like whatever we ran with back in the day is what they should be running with now.
Speaker A:Because it seems like everybody is rewriting the rules right now.
Speaker B:The rules to the game in the street.
Speaker B:Yeah, it's over.
Speaker B:It's over.
Speaker B:When your best friend wearing wires that you taking care of.
Speaker B:You talking about the Lil Durk, that's what.
Speaker B:When that type of stuff alleged.
Speaker B:When that type of stuff is going on, what kind of wake up call?
Speaker B:What more do you need?
Speaker B:And yo, I preach to these guys and preach to these guys about, yo, what more do you need to know that this is over?
Speaker B:It should be over because there's so much other money out here now.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying that you could be doing?
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker C:What are some other hustles that people just aren't taking advantage of?
Speaker C:Like, if he's not a forward thinker, like, what are some other things like a young black man could be doing to get to the paper?
Speaker B:I tell you what, New York city dealing with 3, 400,000 new visitors, immigrants that came to work and you can't boss up, right?
Speaker B:I'm watching these immigrants go in our trash cans where rats at in the middle of the night.
Speaker B:They know there's rats in there looking for 5 cent bottles.
Speaker B:And you can't put them to work.
Speaker B:You can't wake up tomorrow and say, damn, man, what's the worst thing people hate doing?
Speaker B:Or they hate moving.
Speaker B:Know, I could round up five of them dudes and we can move a whole mansion, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:And give them, you know, and not even cheat them out the money.
Speaker B:Give them a little, you know, minimum wage.
Speaker B:I can get five ladies right now to clean up this whole spot.
Speaker B:Spotless for the low.
Speaker B:Now, you got a cleaning company, man.
Speaker B:You get what I'm saying?
Speaker B:It's so much out there.
Speaker B:Because if you don't boss up, they taking it.
Speaker B:They came to work.
Speaker B:I tell this to my students all day long.
Speaker B:I said, you think Shorty watched his mom?
Speaker B:He's 17, she got a baby on her back.
Speaker B:You think Shorty watched his mother come across the Rio Grande swimming with a baby on her back?
Speaker B:He get to America to play games.
Speaker B:He gonna come, he gonna get this education, and he gonna get that.
Speaker B:It's that the world is flipping.
Speaker B:They flipping us to the bottom.
Speaker B:I'm already on the phone just trying to learn Spanish every day.
Speaker B:Cause that's gonna need.
Speaker B:We gonna need that to be able to work in the future.
Speaker B:Because the future is our bosses are gonna be Hispanic.
Speaker C:Why do you think we're at the bottom of the totem pole as a black man?
Speaker B:Because we can't talk to each other.
Speaker B:We won't eat with each other.
Speaker B:We hating on each other.
Speaker B:We holding grudges with each other.
Speaker B:It's just.
Speaker B:I don't understand this design that we can't wake up from.
Speaker B:And I'm sitting here telling you, yo, you got the future right in your hand right here.
Speaker B:What's your excuse that's stopping you from being a boss?
Speaker B:What's your excuse?
Speaker B:You say you got talent.
Speaker B:If you could rap, you could do you now.
Speaker B:You could turn on your phone, show it.
Speaker C:Yep.
Speaker B:And now when you show it?
Speaker B:Because I get that all the time.
Speaker B:Oh, that shit is hot.
Speaker B:Now, how you gonna sell it?
Speaker B:You smart.
Speaker B:You know about that.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:How you gonna sell on the Internet?
Speaker B:My little man, and I'm next door to me.
Speaker B:Tell me, put me on.
Speaker B:Put me on.
Speaker B:I said, y'all don't work hard enough.
Speaker B:Cause this nigga still at Times Square selling CDs for a dollar.
Speaker B:You understand?
Speaker B:He got you beat.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:These guys just need leadership.
Speaker B:They out there, they just need leadership.
Speaker B:They need somebody to trust.
Speaker B:And when I say trust, trust you all the way to the finish line of them getting some kind of employment.
Speaker B:I be in the prisons talking to these guys about, yo, you hit the streets, bro.
Speaker B:This shit ain't the same.
Speaker B:You ain't been out six months in New York.
Speaker B:That shit's scary.
Speaker B:That shit's scary.
Speaker B:I'm on a train every morning, though.
Speaker B:It's scary.
Speaker B:They walking around in packs.
Speaker B:Sooner or later, they're gonna be on the corners, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:They took the high school dudes off the train that used to come to the train and sell MM's and candy.
Speaker B:Uh, it's the little Spanish lady with a baby on her back.
Speaker B:Now they done booted him out.
Speaker B:The high schools dudes out, they taking over every level with suspect.
Speaker B:They start from the bottom or work their way all the way to the top.
Speaker B:Because we don't want it.
Speaker B:We don't believe education is a must.
Speaker B:And I'm teaching osha.
Speaker B:I'm teaching them how to work safe in the construction field.
Speaker B:I'm teaching them how to get out there and learn something and get a real trade.
Speaker B:I'm telling them, once you learn this, bro, and you can always keep money in your pocket.
Speaker B:You know how many people buying homes want a bathroom fix this.
Speaker B:That once you learn this, you gonna always keep money.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:So I try to teach them these skills that they need to come out here on these streets to deal with this.
Speaker B:But that's just not even.
Speaker B:It's still a long haul from there.
Speaker B:Cause I can't even promise you a job when you leave here.
Speaker B:I can give you the skills, but I can't promise you a job.
Speaker B:It break down there.
Speaker B:Cause I'm telling you, you ain't gonna last no more than 60 days in New York streets before you start thinking about coming back to jail.
Speaker B:And I always leave a seat in the back of the classroom.
Speaker B:I said, that empty seat is for you when you come back.
Speaker B:If you go out of here without no plan.
Speaker B:If you go out in these streets without no plan, that chair gonna be sitting for you.
Speaker B:So I'm just here to give you a plan.
Speaker B:You know how I know this plan works?
Speaker B:Because I'm in the side of prison teaching y'all.
Speaker B:Cause I was over there.
Speaker B:So I know this plan works.
Speaker B:And I'm gonna give you every detail you need to get a job to get this shit done, get it right.
Speaker B:And if you want to go another option, I'm gonna show you this.
Speaker B:I'm gonna work with you.
Speaker B:I'm gonna do my due diligence and I take pride in this shit.
Speaker B:I think this is my gift.
Speaker B:This is what God, this might have been it for me.
Speaker B:Maybe this was the purpose.
Speaker B:Cause I feel good doing this.
Speaker B:I feel good around a bunch of kids.
Speaker B:I got an 11 year old son.
Speaker B:I feel good.
Speaker B:I'm always around kids.
Speaker B:Cause you can't, can't be.
Speaker B:You always gotta Be on point.
Speaker B:I don't say nigger as much.
Speaker B:I don't cuss as much.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:If you wanna be straight and be, you know, stay out of trouble, fuck with the kids.
Speaker B:I tell all the dudes in prison, say, you go home.
Speaker B:Know what you do?
Speaker B:The new money.
Speaker B:Talk these dudes into getting rid of them guns.
Speaker B:Talk them into.
Speaker B:You get them guns off the street.
Speaker B:Oh, man, it's almost like you're selling dope.
Speaker B:They gonna give you so much money if you can get them guns off the street.
Speaker B:That's the new hustle.
Speaker B:That's dope.
Speaker B:They tired New York City.
Speaker B:I don't know what's going on in Dallas, but New York City is scary.
Speaker B:You got these dudes walking around our street looking hungry.
Speaker B:If they go in the garbage, bro, I'm just telling you what's next.
Speaker B:Our women is in trouble.
Speaker B:Our kids is in trouble if we don't do something about it.
Speaker E:Yeah, they got a little new drill scene.
Speaker B:We got.
Speaker B:Yeah, we got some tough issues.
Speaker C:I mean, is it that it's scary because the economy has made it that way.
Speaker C:Just the cost of living.
Speaker B:Yeah, it's the economy.
Speaker B:It's the.
Speaker B:I don't know what's going.
Speaker B:It's the rat race New York got you in, right?
Speaker B:I call it the shakedown.
Speaker B:From the time you get your check, it's a shakedown.
Speaker B:You like, damn.
Speaker B:Oh, who's that with the big gun?
Speaker B:Oh, that's.
Speaker B:That's the feds.
Speaker B:Who's that?
Speaker B:The state.
Speaker B:Who's that?
Speaker B:That's the rent, the mortgage.
Speaker B:Who's that?
Speaker B:Who's that?
Speaker B:They shaking your whole shit down.
Speaker B:You ain't got nothing left.
Speaker B:I'm laughing at niggas talking about, oh, I make a 90,000 that.
Speaker B:I make 150.
Speaker B:That shit ain't holding me down.
Speaker B:It's nothing.
Speaker B:I'm still.
Speaker B:It's nothing crazy.
Speaker B:150, 100.
Speaker B:I never thought I would make 100,000 legally at no time, really.
Speaker B:But now since I've been making that, that shit ain't no money for New York.
Speaker C:That shit ain't no money nowhere.
Speaker B:Cause a spot like this will run you 8,000 easy.
Speaker B:8,000.
Speaker B:9,000, easy.
Speaker A:It's five over here.
Speaker B:You understand?
Speaker B:Yeah, it's gonna be that.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:So the economy is messed up.
Speaker B:You got stress, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:You got trauma.
Speaker B:Who's home with the kids?
Speaker B:If you got to work like that, the average person gotta do.
Speaker B:And they doing 12 hours.
Speaker B:Then you wanna know why the kids is so wild?
Speaker B:They ain't got.
Speaker B:They ain't got time to sit home and raise the kids.
Speaker B:The Internet, raising the kids, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:So I just try to be like I said, use my story as a platform to reach into these dudes heads, to tell them like, yo, this dude could go from here to here, it could happen and Jay or nobody else can stop him, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:And that street shit, you see what it does with me and Jay now, It tore everything apart, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:I don't blame Jay.
Speaker B:I blame the streets.
Speaker B:Really now, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:If this shit wouldn't happen, Jay would still be where he at.
Speaker B:But hey, we'd be on a better.
Speaker B:We'd be on a better friendship with him.
Speaker B:You understand what I'm saying?
Speaker B:So I tell them all this just to get them get to get their attention, to know that that shit ain't cool.
Speaker B:Gangs, man, I never been a part of a gang ever.
Speaker B:I never see a part of it.
Speaker B:I ain't see a purpose in the gang.
Speaker B:If you ain't getting money, if it ain't about no money, what we doing, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Your man ain't gonna let you go to jail if he care about you, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:And like I said, the game, all this money out here, y'all worry about the game.
Speaker B:When you see these niggas is telling for the worst reason.
Speaker B:That's legit, that's actually already in their head.
Speaker B:If I get caught, I'm just gonna tell because they know somebody that caught a body already.
Speaker B:If you caught a body with somebody a few years ago and y'all both walking around, man, get rid of him because you just don't know what he gonna use.
Speaker B:That get out of town and he still.
Speaker B:That person's still in the street.
Speaker B:You just never know.
Speaker B:You just never know.
Speaker B:So when you say the game, man, the game is over in every aspect.
Speaker B:Drugs, there's no more coke.
Speaker B:Fetty wiped that shit out.
Speaker B:Nobody want to even do coke because of Fetty.
Speaker B:So that has to drop.
Speaker B:It ain't worth it.
Speaker B:Getting caught with that shit is definitely going to be worth.
Speaker B:It's just.
Speaker B:I don't know how you can.
Speaker B:How you could be successful at it nowadays.
Speaker E:If there's no.
Speaker E:If there's no dope or drugs, then there's no reason for the police to exist.
Speaker E:So we gotta have some.
Speaker E:Something Going on.
Speaker B:Oh, I want to talk about the police.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:The war on drugs.
Speaker C:Has to be.
Speaker B:Has to understand.
Speaker B:America got it.
Speaker B:Want to get high.
Speaker B:We get that.
Speaker B:We also get that.
Speaker B:And they doing that.
Speaker B:That's why they gave us the weed to smoke for free, right?
Speaker B:To keep us off point.
Speaker B:Because that's all they doing in New York.
Speaker B:That's what these new generations do.
Speaker B:They don't understand that that shit just.
Speaker B:Just.
Speaker B:Just throwing their whole focus off.
Speaker B:You know what I mean?
Speaker B:It makes sense for them to make that shit legal, right?
Speaker B:Because they know we ain't gonna do shit for now, but just want to smoke.
Speaker B:Now you got 10 dudes on the block.
Speaker B:They all got weed.
Speaker B:Yeah, how that works, you don't.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Like, now you just doing it to be doing it.
Speaker B:Some people go to work just to do it.
Speaker B:Like, I just thought that was something that they threw at us to draw us back some more.
Speaker E:Nah, that's what it is.
Speaker B:That's factual.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Just draw us back some more.
Speaker B:All that stuff is purpose.
Speaker C:Because even with the dude, you know, you thought you was even kind of.
Speaker C:You was kind of okay with.
Speaker C:You just sold the weed.
Speaker C:Like, I ain't fucking with nothing.
Speaker C:I'm gonna just sell the weed.
Speaker C:We made that shit legal.
Speaker C:Now I gotta touch something stupid.
Speaker B:Yeah, you know, now what?
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying.
Speaker B:You got competition everywhere.
Speaker B:Like, I just think that we more creative than just being drug dealers just selling drugs.
Speaker B:We more creative than just selling liquor, right?
Speaker B:No, I watch these dudes.
Speaker B:We more creative than just selling us a fucking gambling habit.
Speaker B:I watch all the shit that they try to sell us and shit now and our own people.
Speaker B:I understand you could get a check from Cognac, you get a check from Hennessy.
Speaker B:But if you don't need it, you don't see the morals in that.
Speaker B:But if you don't.
Speaker B:If you don't need none of that shit.
Speaker B:Do you see the morals now?
Speaker B:I don't want you.
Speaker B:You don't have to be a part of it.
Speaker B:Every time we turn around, sports bet, sports bet, this, that and that.
Speaker B:Why right now you got young niggas like, young niggas like, oh, they look.
Speaker B:They look.
Speaker B:They look like my mom's 30 years.
Speaker B:Like, ah, I missed the number today.
Speaker B:I missed the number.
Speaker B:That's what they look like now.
Speaker C:You do this shit from your phone.
Speaker A:This is crazy, bro.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Anything to take us broke.
Speaker A:Yeah, that's facts.
Speaker B:You Know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:And they feed us to us.
Speaker B:They just feed it to us, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:You know, it's all kinds of habits that they want us to have.
Speaker B:Distractions and this and that.
Speaker B:And the third, man, the whole thing is, man, you can have fun, stay focused and shit, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:And do the right thing.
Speaker B:There's no harm in doing the right thing.
Speaker A:I just got a question.
Speaker A:I always wanted to ask this.
Speaker A:Was there ever a dope boy that did it and got out the game that we just don't know about me?
Speaker B:That's what saved my life in my trial, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:I got out.
Speaker B:That's why I wasn't tied to this conspiracy here.
Speaker B:Because I seen that shit Garay unfold.
Speaker B:I seen it going, God damn, look at my little town.
Speaker B:This dude right here used to only buy little 8/2 ounces and ounces.
Speaker B:Now he buying keys.
Speaker B:He buying keys.
Speaker B:He buying keys.
Speaker B:She holding all the keys.
Speaker B:I'm like, this shit is out of control.
Speaker B:When I was here, I had it in control.
Speaker B:I had control over this shit.
Speaker B:Now I.
Speaker B:Only all three are.
Speaker B:You can handle them.
Speaker B:But then I seen that shit.
Speaker B:Like, man, this shit is about to start something ugly.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Now I gotta argue with my same people that I've been dealing with.
Speaker B:Yo, bro.
Speaker B:He like, nah, I could get him for 22 now.
Speaker B:I'm like, what?
Speaker B:So you don't need me no more?
Speaker B:So everybody cool?
Speaker B:And I just had a gut feeling.
Speaker B:And then I go home and shit, one night.
Speaker B:And then I'm.
Speaker B:I'm in my room, I'm counting money.
Speaker B:I got.
Speaker B:I'm counting bread and counting.
Speaker B:And my shorty walk in the room and she see the money all over the place, and she like, damn, that's all ours.
Speaker B:I'm like, yeah.
Speaker B:Then I go in the room and I open up the vacuum cleaner.
Speaker B:I dump out more.
Speaker B:Altogether, it's almost 480 something thousand cash.
Speaker B:And she like, baby, what else?
Speaker B:I mean, what the fuck is.
Speaker B:What is.
Speaker B:Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
Speaker B:Why?
Speaker B:Why?
Speaker B:We got the salon, we got cars, we got condo in Delaware.
Speaker B:We got house in Philly.
Speaker B:We got this and this.
Speaker B:We straight.
Speaker B:Like, what you striving for?
Speaker B:I was like, man.
Speaker B:And then you having.
Speaker B:Then I'm having a hard time already having this vision.
Speaker B:I was like, you know what?
Speaker B:I quit.
Speaker B:I packed everything up, packed the crib up.
Speaker B:I moved down south.
Speaker B:Three years later, I go to fucking court to pay a ticket.
Speaker B:And who on my heels?
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Oh, yeah.
Speaker B:Maryland.
Speaker B:Baltimore wants you.
Speaker B:Federal indictment.
Speaker B:Three years later, after I left.
Speaker B:How the fuck they want me down in there?
Speaker B:So that's how it was so easy for me to fight my case.
Speaker B:Because the judge looking through everything they like, look at all of these wiretaps and surveillance.
Speaker B:He's not on none of this because I wasn't there.
Speaker B:They only picked me up because what I done already, I already did all that.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:My name was just still ringing bells.
Speaker B:So they bring in this.
Speaker B:So you got is six people testifying against you.
Speaker B:That's all you had no more evidence, no surveillance, no nothing else.
Speaker B:The judge, like you ain't got nothing else.
Speaker B:This is my third.
Speaker B:You think Puffy going through battle hands?
Speaker B:I had three, four of them shits, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Till the judge had to go.
Speaker B:Look, man, I can't keep them no longer because you not showing me nothing hard.
Speaker B:You just telling me five, six people got.
Speaker B:That's all you have is testimony for them.
Speaker B:You don't have nothing.
Speaker B:He said, I can't hold him here for that.
Speaker B:I got out on bond and I was able to fight my case from there, but that's how I got out the game.
Speaker B:And this is how I tell him, like, the only way you can get away from.
Speaker B:Get away from that shit is tie away from, not be tied to a conspiracy.
Speaker B:So when you think back, it was just smart for me to get out the game, right?
Speaker B:And I got out of that shit right on time.
Speaker B:Cause come to find out when I started doing my investigation, that they didn't start investigating until I left.
Speaker B:So it was.
Speaker B:Everything was right on time.
Speaker A:Boy, that boy Shout out to that woman that boy what?
Speaker B:Shout out to that woman she left me.
Speaker B:Damn.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Everybody like, yo, she cut out on you, bro.
Speaker B:After all you did for her.
Speaker B:I paid.
Speaker B:I've been taking care of her since she was high school, paid through college, this, that.
Speaker B:She's successful.
Speaker B:She left you and you just let her go.
Speaker B:Yeah, because she got me through my trial.
Speaker B:She stayed through the most important thing of my life.
Speaker B:And when she asked for her walking papers, how could I not?
Speaker B:How could I deny that?
Speaker C:Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Speaker B:Uh.
Speaker B:Oh.
Speaker C:Cause fuck that.
Speaker C:You got out the game and then she left.
Speaker B:What?
Speaker B:That trial, man, had an impact on our relationship, though, okay?
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:She did everything she could do.
Speaker B:I give her a thumbs up.
Speaker B:She done everything down to the lawyers, down to chasing Jay around.
Speaker B:Cause, mind you, when I was in there first, when I first got in there, man, that shit was horrible, bro.
Speaker B:That Ma had to tell my girl to chase him around.
Speaker B:And he was ducking and hiding shit, you know what I mean?
Speaker B:By the time she catch up with him, you know what I'm saying, she got to get him against the wall and be like, yo, what the fuck?
Speaker B:He like, yo, I'm a holl at him.
Speaker B:I'm going to holler at him.
Speaker B:Nothing.
Speaker A:So I just gotta ask this question before we get out of here.
Speaker A:So Jaguar kind of alluded to Jay Z may be next.
Speaker A:What is your thoughts when you hear the world like, they done took down Puff, they done took down all these other powerful black people.
Speaker A:Jay Z's like the lone standing yo.
Speaker B:If you do the track record, Jay is them people.
Speaker B:If you do the pro, do you do the history or most of the people that got in trouble in the industry, big trouble.
Speaker B:Who they went to for help when Lil Wayne was in trouble?
Speaker B:Who'd he go to when Meek Mills was in trouble?
Speaker B:Who he goes, Meek Mills said it himself.
Speaker B:Desiree helped me.
Speaker B:You understand?
Speaker B:So how could he be up next?
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:He is them people, they go to him when he got.
Speaker B:When they got problems.
Speaker B:And what they gonna say if he.
Speaker B:If he don't come up in?
Speaker B:Nothing.
Speaker B:What they gonna say?
Speaker B:Told you he ain't got nothing to do with that.
Speaker B:They still gonna cover it up anyway.
Speaker B:But they.
Speaker B:I don't think they.
Speaker B:You know, I don't think they coming after him at all.
Speaker B:I don't think they got.
Speaker B:I think.
Speaker B:I said, I think he is them.
Speaker B:He has a relationship with them.
Speaker B:You talking about a woman that had a relationship with the feds for 20 something years, right?
Speaker B:When you working for them, you got an agent, your agent that's in charge of you.
Speaker B:You think she don't have no relationships over the years with all these agents that became retired and connected and this and that and the third till they just know shit.
Speaker B:She got power.
Speaker B:That's power over there.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Who you wouldn't want on.
Speaker B:Yes.
Speaker B:You got them on your side, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:If something happened with him, it's gonna be about a money situation.
Speaker B:It ain't gonna be nothing that's gonna hurt you get what I'm saying?
Speaker B:So I don't know.
Speaker B:I don't see them going after him.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:But everything Jaguar be saying, do flourish, so I can't count her out, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker C:You got any shout outs?
Speaker B:Oh, man.
Speaker B:Shout out to the blue couch, man.
Speaker C:Man.
Speaker B:Yo, man, it's an honor.
Speaker C:Thank you, brother.
Speaker B:To be here, sitting here, and I know where I'm going from here.
Speaker B:I can't wait to come back here to discuss this book when y'all read some of that.
Speaker B:Yeah, I'm gonna come back for the book thing.
Speaker B:Do we really?
Speaker B:So you could be like, yo, your mama.
Speaker B:What?

Speaker B:So you can be like, yo, this, that.
Speaker B:Yeah, I put a lot of the more detailed situation in there that I felt that I never discussed.

Speaker B:How the YouTube came about, what was going on in my life.
Speaker B:This, that, and the third.
Speaker B:And shout out to everybody, man, that's just been riding with me, you know what I mean?
Speaker B:And I thank you guys for taking the opportunity to give me to sit on this couch, man.
Speaker B:You don't even know how.
Speaker B:And during the first joint with Boss Talk, man, I didn't know Texas had that much love for me, for me and my story.
Speaker B:I didn't know how many.
Speaker B:I know it resonates with real niggas, but I didn't know there was that many real niggas in Texas because they.
Speaker B:They definitely showed me some love with this.
Speaker B:And like I said, man, and getting the love from them telling me, yo, keep doing what I'm doing, that I got soldiers down here, too.
Speaker B:That's what motivates me, man.
Speaker B:And that's what's up.
Speaker E:The couch is known to tell the truth.
Speaker E:Yeah, so.
Speaker E:So, yeah, you're on the truth tell.
Speaker C:And then another thing is, man, there's a lot of dope boys in the south that have been through what you've been through.
